Ladies- large size is better if you have a large bust. Updated*
Update:In cooler temperatures I did find that that regular bag was too small for me across my hips and shoulders which made it stretch tightly, losing loft and therefore not being warm enough. My husband switched bags with me as an experiment and the large bag performed very well for me. Am returning the regular and switching it for a large. It is a 45 degree bag and definitely is colder if the temps drop further like they did on our last trip. Forecast was in the 40s but it dropped to 35 so we had to pack up and leave. Next time we'll each carry an emergency bivy or bag liner. The bag was perfect until it got below 40.The zipper does work from inside. After a few nights, I accidentally rotated the zipper pull tab around and inside the bag when I didn't want to and realized that this was the solution. Very simple and works well- once you've played with it and know it by feel so that you can release yourself from the bag in the dark!____________________________________________________________These are fantastically light-weight and stuff down very small. A great budget 3 season bag. We bought two and found them to be almost perfect for our backpacking needs. We treated them with Nikwax Down Proof which worked well. There is no zipper pull-tab from the inside. The zipper can only be accessed from the outside of the bag. Good luck if you zip yourself fully in. Even my DOGS' sleeping bags have a proper sleeping bag zipper and they can't operate them, being as they are dogs and are lacking the requisite dexterous phalangelical limbs.I did make the mistake of forgetting about my bust size and purchased a regular one for me and a large for the husband. His fits me great. I can't close the regular one and sleep comfortably within it (assuming I could unzip it from within and release myself from the green prison). So I just unzip it entirely and stick my feet in and use the open top part is a quilt which has worked for me so far.In conclusion, we do not regret purchasing these bags. Our one wish would be a zipper pull-tab both outside and inside the bag.

I used Aegismax sleeping bag(s) for the entirety of the Appalachian Trail
I used Aegismax sleeping bag(s) for the entirety of the Appalachian Trail, but if you notice, i said "bag(s). At the start of the trail (March 13), I used 2 of these sleeping bags together. The inner bag was used as a traditional sleeping bag (fully zipped). The second bag was left unzipped, and used more like a quilt. I did this so that the inner bag;s down would be less likely to get compressed by the second bag. Also, when i turned over in the 2 bag system, the inner bag could turn with me, while the 2nd bag would stay draped over me, and even if the outer bag left a draft spot, the inner bag being fully zipped reduced the chilling effect. Coupled with a Thermarest X-Therm air mattress and a thin silk liner, I was comfortable down to about 25° F/-4°C, wearing only thermal pants and shirt, and clean dry socks ( Using 1 Aegismax bag, I'm comfortable down to about 35°F/2°C ) Any colder than that, I added a clothing layer and was fine. Once i reached Harper' Ferry (the unofficial halfway point), I sent one bag home, and was fine the rest of the hike with just the one bag. This 2 bag system worked great for me, was lighter (29.8 oz/844.8 grams) than some single down bags, and was cheaper for 2 of these bags than some single bags. Bonus: After reaching halfway point and 1 bag being sent home, bag weight was cut in half vs. someone using a 1 bag setup for the whole trail. So overall, this bag performs admirably, and you can't beat the price!

Light Weight and good value
After a recommendation from Darwin, I decided to try this bag to complement some of the other ultralight gear I have been assembling. Despite its low price, I have been pleasantly surprised. When I compared it to some of my other Down bags rated at 20, it didn't look like it would be effective. But, using it as a quilt over an ultralight insulated air mattress, it kept me pretty warm at temps below 40 when camping above 4000 ft and at 1 lb, is is less than half the weight of my next lightest bag. The included compression sack compacted to not much bigger than my full length air mattress. When used as a liner inside another 3-season down bag, I was overly warm even with temps in the mid 20's (deg F). The construction is very lightweight, so I expect that long term durability might be a problem, but so far, after about 20 trips, it has been holding up well. If you like to snug your bag around your face, and are taller than 5 ' 6', get the larger option.
