Perfect DK, and they are not wrong!
Beautiful yarn. Feels so soft and quite thick. Has a nice stretch to it. Ive been using it to make a cardigan for my granddaughter. The garment has turned out so beautiful I think I have to make myself a sweater or two with this make. It certainly is perfect DK. The yarn ran through my hands and hook so smoothly. I had zero splitting and did not have to sort out any knots. A pleasure to work with. Honestly beautiful and a new life long customer here. I did buy quite a few different yarns during this order and can not wait to get hooking some stunning garments. Photos are of the cream perfect DK. The garment isnt quite finished but I couldnt wait to show what a superb yarn this is. Also added a photo of a jumper dress made with the same perfect DK. I do love this yarn and have bought quite a few colours. The colour range is beautiful.

Good value, good range of colours. Thinner than some other brands
I bought several different colours of the Utopia Crafts DK yarn to make a patchwork-type knitted blanket. I found that, in general, the Utopia balls of yarn were not as thick as other brands. The squares made with Utopia yarn were more drapey, but the stitch definition was good. I am not sure how hardwearing this yarn would be if made into a garment.A good yarn for beginners at a reasonable price and an excellent range of colours.

Very nice wool
Got this for my mum. She knits little hats for the premature babies in the local maternity hospital.She was very pleased....easy to knit with & the colour is the perfect baby blue

Utopia's 'Perfect DK' is Hit & Miss on quality - this was a miss :(
Why did you choose this product over others?:I have purchased a few different colours of the Utopia Crafts Perfect DK. Some are lovely and soft, others less so but still ok for the price, and unfortunately some are really coarse. Sadly the Dark Raspberry is the latter. Weight wise I would say it is closer to Aran weight, and it is not soft at all. It's a lovely colour, but horrible to work with. I'm currently making dolls clothes - if it was for a person to wear I would bin it, but dolls are less picky!Value for money:The price is very competitive, IF you get a good one. This was not; I would not buy this colour again and will look for an alternative brand.
