can this be used as a solvent like methylene chloride? i need it to use on garments to remove vinyl logos

I am tempted to say yes, having used it last Summer to remove some dried varnish from a pair of M&S trousers. In my case, there was some loss of dye, so I guess it would depend on the type of material that you are proposing to attack. Maybe a supplier of MEK could provide advice before you spend money buying a product that you might rarely need to use?

Is this stronger then acetone for removing inks? Normal acetone for nail varnish remover failed to remove the ink I need to remove.

This is above my pay grade, CS. I was told to get it by the people who supplied me with the stuff I used to repair rotten timber. It worked for me in a way that my wife's nail varnish remover wouldn't. Frankly, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Just use it sparingly to start with. And protect any surrounding surfaces!

Will it keep gloss brushes soft

I'm assuming that you are not in the trade, otherwise you would not be asking the question! Firstly, MEK is not cheap. Secondly, it's a solvent and, as such, would only benefit you if you wanted to rescue a favourite brush that you had allowed to harden throughout - and even then, you'd be lucky to rescue more than the outermost 30 per cent of the bristles. Frankly, a jam jar of water and a couple of rubber bands to suspend the bristles below the surface should enable you to continue painting after 2 to 3 days.

it can be used to glue lego together but not all plastics or flexible lego which is different composition. Excellent for normal lego/duplo to stick some bits together into bigger blocks for young children . Also some plastic pipes (solvent type) but needs filler

This is solvent cleaner. If your repairing anything like a spa then this is what you need to clean and prime the surface.

Protect your hands - hazardous liquid

This is one of the more effective solvents that I use to clean my knife and mixing board after applying expoxy resin. It is hazardous to work with so I wear industrial rubber gloves and use old rags every time.
