It's more a very dark brown that has a really rich red sheen to it. I think it would work perfectly well on dyed black hair **Q: I've already used this before but I need more on would it be ok adding more on again** A: Well, I've left it on for about an hour but I'm not recommending you do the same. I've just looked at the product again. What I was talking about was the Live colour. I haven't used 87 for a long time. I wouldn't leave this on for an hour. **Q: Can you wash your hair straight away if your hair was on the greasy side before dying it, then condition as normal** A: I get the best result from washing hair 12-24 hours before dyeing, then try not to wash it afterwards for at least 3 days ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Expensive looking "cherry cola" shade, great for salt n pepper greying hair *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 5 September 2023* Looks amazing on black or dark brown hair that has started to go grey and white. the dark bits pick up the red glistening in the light like a mahogany cherry cola colour. the grey hairs and white hairs turn a wonderful light mahogany/ auburn tone so the overall effect is like mahogany wood with different tones, or like you have expensive highlights and lowlights on dyed burgundy hair. fantastic price and lasts a long time in the hair. also, THE ONLY PRODUCT TO PROVIDE LONG LASTING 100% GREY AND WHITE COVERAGE THAT ACTUALLY WORKS AND NEVER FADES! also on normal hair colour, it lasts far longer than other auburn dyes. it doesn't fade much at all. really great and looks like you've been to the hairdresser. treat your mom to a pack.
