ieGeek Indoor Camera WIFI Security Camera Wireless Pet Camera with APP, 1080P for Baby/Pet/Elder, Night Vision, 2-Way Audio, PIR Motion Detection, Cloud & SD Card Storage, Works with Alexa

I bought two cameras from ieGeek so far (indoor battery camera and a doorbell camera). Before I purchased them though I did read through a lot of reviews on other brands as well and took my time before making any decisions. I must admit it took me a while. I had an eye on ieGeek doorbell for a year but because I couldn’t make up my mind what I wanted I dropped the idea initially. Then a neighbour of ours showed me how their cameras work and a friend, I was going on holiday with, mentioned about getting an indoor camera for peace of mind whilst we are away and my interest sparked again.So I started reading through reviews again. One of them advised that if you are planning to install more than one camera it’s best to buy them from the same brand so you don’t have to instal different apps for each camera on your phone, but rather have all of them in one app. That was helpful because I knew I wanted an indoor camera and a doorbell. Hence, I had a look which brands offer both with possibility to add another outdoor camera if I needed it in future. I also wanted the cameras to save videos on SD card rather than paying a subscription for a cloud storage. So I looked up ieGeek doorbell again (I still had it in my wish list from a year ago) and noticed that ieGeek do other types of camera as well. Indoor battery camera is pretty small and handy (smaller and smarter looking than other brands I looked up) and that pretty much sealed my choice. I paid around £100 for both and I’m happy with my purchase. Price was good (I didn’t want to buy the cheapest camera on the market but also not an expensive one either). Both cameras do what it says on the tin. Both connected to network ok (I didn’t have any problems like some people reported for other brands). I’ve had both cameras for about a month now. Battery still holds on both since the initial charge. Picture quality is as expected.I’m planning to buy another outdoor solar operated camera as my car got scratched by presumably a delivery van whilst I was on holiday. Unfortunately, the doorbell wouldn’t have caught the incident as a bush obscures the view from the side where the van parked. Hence the need for another camera somewhere on the building where the bush isn’t in a way.This might be a common sense but if I was to give advice to someone buying a security camera for the first time I would say think about what you want the camera/cameras for (what you want them to show/record and maybe what you don’t want them to show/record) and where you want to place them. Depending on that look for the right specifications for you (like battery/cable/solar operated etc.), read through reviews and talk to someone who already has some cameras installed especially if your budget is tight but also to avoid disappointment if your expectations are higher than what the cameras can achieve in your circumstances.I had zero experience with security cameras before my purchase. I didn’t know what to expect. I’m glad I asked around and did some reading before making a decision which brand to buy from. I’m happy with what ieGeek offers. Their products are good quality and value for money.

Using this as an indoor monitor and surprised how compact and small this is (in a good way!). Easy to set up, app is intuitive, and the picture quality is fantastic. Battery life seems really really good and value for money you really can’t go wrong. My favourite point about this is that it is fully portable meaning I don’t have to plug it in every time I change location, just make sure it’s charged and away you go! One tip, when setting up with the Wi-Fi password the first letter defaulted to a capital letter in the app so make sure you check that as it took me 4 or 5 attempts to realise.

Does exactly as it says. Minutes to set up, very long battery life, and exactly what I needed. It’s small, fits on my shelf, and helps me monitor my hamster when I’m at work. Real time watching is fantastic and the ability to provide a clear image at night is invaluable.

Very pleased with my purchase the camera is a replacement for an older one and it is definitely much better. Much smaller too and easier to place wherever I need it. Would definitely recommend.

Good little camera and very easy to set up, I originally tried one of the Tapo makes and I couldn't even get it set up it ended up going back. I ordered this one which was mile's quicker to set up, so far happy with it

It does what it says it does and that's all you can ask for. I would recommend it for a budget friendly camera.

The camera is as expected.Good video quality, especially for indoors.I would heavily recommend it if you are looking to record all the time, but you'll have to buy a micro SD card for that feature.

The camera functions amazingly and with the ability to switch between SD and HD makes the quality fantastic. Battery life was my main concern but it lasts for ages, I would definitely buy this again.

I was looking a camera to watch our baby when we leave her alone in the room and go another room. Baby monitor. And this one is the best. No any concerns, works flawlessly, very comfortable to use. You don't need any subscriptions, extra payment, like Amazon cam, Wyze, Ring asks from you, what is extremely annoying.I have used it already for a couple of months, and can say its 5/5, 10/10.It has a battery, no need for any wires, works over wi-fi. The stand gives you the ability to place it the way needed. Depending on where the baby is, you just put the camera there.The picture quality is perfect, totally great. The night vision is perfect, I can see everything clearly and well.The app is well-made, everything is easy to adjust and set up. Never had problems.We take it anywhere we go and use it there.Also, it has good features, like Sound - you can hear everything well. Another, you can Say back if you need to. It has Siren. Of course, it has recording with SD card installed. So you can check that was recorded very easily through the timeline.Thank you for selling this on Amazon. Acquistata per monitorare il mio studio durante le ore di chiusura. Posizionata sul piedistallo ed accoppiata facilmente e rapidamente con lo smartphone grazie all'applicazione da scaricare sul PlayStore. La confezione è piccola ed ordinata, include la videocamera col suo piedistallo, due viti fisher e due biadesivi 3M per collocarla a muro o in posti nei quali il solo piedistallo non è sufficiente. Risoluzione HD molto buona con ogni condizione di luce ed anche di notte. L'applicazione è molto completa, ed anche se la traduzione in italiano non è sempre accurata si comprende facilmente il modo d'uso delle svariate opzioni offerte. E' possibile memorizzare i video su scheda di memoria o anche su cloud (a pagamento). La rilevazione dei movimenti non sbaglia mai e le notifiche arrivano nel giro di pochi secondi sul cellulare. Ho impostato la videocamera affinché si attivi, registri ed invii notifiche soltanto quando rileva movimento umano, questo ha consentito di consumare in due settimane appena il 47% della carica (mai ricaricata dall'acquisto, ed arrivata col 94% di batteria). La consiglio per coloro che abbiano la necessità di posizionare/installare una videcamera discreta e di qualità in posti lontani da prese di corrente, con la consapevolezza di una durata batteria davvero buona. Spedizione Amazon impeccabile come sempre.

I had a security camera that was made by a different manufacturer. It never did work like it should. I have really slow internet and it didn’t work well with the camera I already had. My daughter recommended this camera, so I ordered it. Oh my gosh!!! This camera is awesome!! It works EVERY TIME I go to the app that’s downloaded for it. It’s also so much more clear than my other camera. I also love how easy it was to set up and immediately begin to start using. I highly recommend this camera to anyone who needs a security camera.
