Wella Shockwaves Go Matt Clay Pack 75 ml

I've been using this product for the last 10+ years. Tried many different brands and types of clay but this is my favourite. Very durable and gives a natural look which is crucial. My number one clay!!! It doesn't leave smell on hair, a tiny amount is enough to shape hair in a way you want it and doesn't need ro be washed before going bed( won't leave stains or marks).

All arrived when stated in the condition expected, good value, can never seem to find this product in most supermarkets, i have a sensitive scalp and seam to react to most hair products except this one and i have tried many waxes, clays, putty’s and gels and this is the one that works for me. I use a very small amount on dry hair, style and holds all day. Nice natural looking finish.

It’s a great product

My hairdresser [daughter in law] recommended a couple of years ago that I change my hair product [which I’d used for many years] to this Wella Shockwaves messy matte clay. It’s an easy use and quick setting product that really suits the purpose. I can’t say I won’t change again in the future but certainly no intention right now.

Having used gel for some years now a friend recommended I switch to clay. This was exactly what I needed. It smells much nicer, holds much longer, and doesn't make my hair look wet. You wouldn't even see it's there. It's also very easy to apply unlike some suggestions that clay is hard to apply. Just put a bit on your index finger, rub it for a few seconds using the palms of your hands to heat it up, then spread it over the surface of your hair -- that's literally it. I thought this was already good value, but I didn't even notice this was a pack of 3 when I ordered it. That was a very pleasant surprise when they arrived.

Doesn't clump or look wet as long as you don't use too much and apply with slightly damp hair, good price and the hold is decent unless you touch it - while it is suspectible to rain, you can restyle it a little once inside and it will dry relatively well, but if you have it to hand, which you can as it's compact, I usually top it up ever so slightly as it does wilt ever so slightly on the second restyle. Don't know what all the bad reviews are about to be honest. If I'm having a long day I do top it off with a spritz of hairspray. I don't apply heat to my hair at all.
