Well. I've had it over a week and it hasn't broken yet, so I'm thinking I'll write my review now. That's a long time for one of these jet lighters. Most of them, irrespective of price, do not work for long. So I'm hopeful that "The Anteater" is the one! The build is nice. It's primarily shiny black plastic, although the base and nozzle grid may well be metal. Generally it feels great in the hand and is easy to use accurately. I filled it three days ago, set a jet intensity, with a blue flame about 1" long. it is still producing that after dozens of uses. Recommended/#.

A good product but spoilt by the instructions. one needs a magnifying glass to look at the features on the diagrams.

Here is a big problem with this product: I tried to load the product, and then I wanted to use it for chicken wings, but the flame is too low for them. I compared the product with another one bought by a friend who obviously was even cheaper and does his job well. I think it's damaged and I'd like to change it with another good.

Works reasonably, not as powerful as expected, and fuel seems not to last very long. But at the price one should not complain. Doesn't waste fuel, just not holding enough to run any longer, so needs refilling often if used a lot. Quality is good, and appearance quite attractive.

Lasted just over 9 months of non frequent use before it died, simply refused to spark up after that point, real shame because it was so good up till then

Der Brenner kommt in einer ansehnlichen und stabilen Kartonbox mit einer perfekt zugeschnittenen Inneneinlage. Das Gerät sieht stylisch aus und funktioniert nach der Erstfüllung (wird leer geliefert, steht so in der Artikelbeschreibung) auch problemlos. Es lassen sich Gas- und Luftzufuhr separat regeln, so können die Flammenart von Feuerzeug bis Brenner und die Stärke eingestellt werden. Es gibt noch einen Schalter mit Lock-Funktion, der sowohl das Ein- als auch das Ausschalten nach Bedarf sperrt. Das ist zwar praktisch, kann im eingeschalteten Zustand allerdings gefährlich sein. Wer mit offenen Flammen hantiert, sollte sich sowieso des Risikos bewusst sein und entsprechend Sorgfalt walten lassen. Der Korpus ist aus Kunststoff, der Standfuß und die Düsenabdeckung könnten Metall oder Keramik sein. Die Verarbeitung ist in Ordnung und insgesamt schaut der Brenner eher wertig aus. Soweit alles gut, allerdings ist dem Gerät weder eine Bedienungsanleitung beigelegt, noch ist irgendeine Sicherheits- oder Prüfkennung ersichtlich. Deshalb von mir auch nur vier Sterne.

El producto viene muy bien embalado, con espuma de relleno en toda la caja de tapa dura, perfectamente protegido. Visualmente es muy bonito y el acabado es muy bueno, tiene aspecto de ser robusto y estar hecho con buenos materiales. El cuerpo negro es plástico, junto con los botones y palancas, el resto es de metal. Es un poco voluminoso (como la mayoría) pero se coge con facilidad, parece un objeto decorativo además de un soplete de cocina. La regulación de llama esta muy bien, desde una llama muy pequeña (casi se apaga) hasta una llama muy grande. Además tiene un regulador de llama que va del modo "mechero" al modo "soplete", suficiente para cualquier uso. Es fácil de recargar y viene con un manual en ingles de como usarlo. El botón de encendido va muy bien, solo me ha fallado una vez que le he dado con muy poca fuerza. Muy contento con la compra, por este precio no se puede pedir más.

Très bon achat. Chalumeau reçu rapidement dans un emballage qui protège bien. Une jolie boîte intérieure idéale pour offrir. Aucune difficulté pour la première utilisation : le vendeur m'a conseillé d'aller chercher "direction for use vailando" sur YouTube pour être guidé, mais sinon le chargement est tout à fait intuitif et prend qq secondes, j'ai chargé par petit coup et après trois ou quatre répétitions c'est fait. J'aime pas trop chargé les briquets mais pour ce chalumeau je me sens en sécurité. Bon fonctionnement, double réglage + sécurité enfant, je peux régler facilement la gaz et la flamme pour avoir des flammes ± puissantes ou précises. Je l'ai acheté pour faire de temps en temps ma crème brûlée et mes bijoux de fantaisie, j'ai pas encore fait mais j'ai hâte :P
