I absolutely love this workbook I got it for our 4 years old. I like that in Even Moor’s website you can look though all the pages and you can decide if it’s going to work for your child or not. I choose Top Student because it is very colorful and have a great deal of different themes. It isn’t only your typical numbers, letters, patterns and matching, but there is also science unit, geography, even computer science. I like that every page have a couple different activities and there is not too much coloring. Even if there is an object to be colored it isn’t too big to take of a whole page like other PreK workbooks. For the Alphabet there is a section for letter and sound recognition and writing section. In the writing section there is mostly tracing and the child is encouraged to try just once to write the letter. I like this because it isn’t too overwhelming for the little ones. There is a early reading section for kids that can recognize sight words and also reading comprehension sections where the kid have to follow a very short story and do an activity. I choose that book mainly because of the science, STEM, SEL and Geography Units. They cover deferent concepts like weather, habitats, recycling, land and water etc., and we can easily go over different themes at home without me having to do a research and collect different resources every week. There is even a short paragraph about the concept for the parent to read. I also like that there are stickers and a large alphabet poster attached in the back.

I absolutely love this book! I have been doing this workbook with my 4 year old and decided to order another my 3 year old. Although my second book the cover did come a little torn I still have it 5 stars cause for me it's about what's in the book! I have been loving all the Evan Moor products I have received and I hope they leave it how it is an not try to make it all inclusive by making no distinction between boys and girls.
