A timeless classic my six year old daughter and eight year old son love it. Highly recommended.

A great version for children

A lovely simple version of the story for teaching younger children. A little more character description would have been good.

A prefect book for any young reader. The book contains beautiful illustrations and is very clearly written. The plot is simple, but accurate, ideal to introduce children to The Secret Garden.The story is in easy to understand language and builds the Childs self-assurance in there ability to succeed and progress.Perfect for children who are ready for chapter books in terms of content but who like plenty of illustrations to look at in a book as well as words. These are a great series of stories and excellent quality books.

This short edited edition is lovely for the very young.But in fact also for the very elderly. My 90 year old mum loved it and read it over and over bless her !

Lovely book for my 5 year old. Easy to read and just the perfect amount of pages for her.

My 6 year old grandaughter loved it. Told her I had read it when I was a girl and so had her mum.

very thin book, i remember this being a tome when i little but this seems more like the children's version

Some books published by Usborne are great for children learning English. Pupils can listen to the story in an English or American accent after they've read the story themselves. This book uses vocabulary that is more advanced and there is no recording kids can listen to. Nor can a teacher read a couple of pages before buying it to see if the level suggested is actually appropriate. I find this failing frustrating and unprofessional.
