A+++ great gate spring with adjustable tension. But know that the spring does not stretch. Not intended to. It goes on the opposite side of the gate like it would be compressing it. Easy to mount and easy to adjust the tension. I have bought and are in use 4 of them.

I purchased these and installed them on my gate as my doors are heavier so of course I chose heavy duty. The springs are fine but I think they are mislabeled as heavy duty and I would probably call them medium duty. Otherwise the product would have worked great if my doors were lighter

I used this product on my construction site wooden door. It works but it’s not heavy duty as I thought it would. Other wise the price is great so no complains. Easy to installation and you can see at the picture.

Installed on my fence in hopes that they would help with closure. I have tortoises in my backyard and have to constantly check the gates when kids are in the pool. Does not work at ALL. Already installed on fence so just an ornament on my fence now.

Seems ok. Not heavy duty, setting tension is a bit dangerous, the detents in the collar are quite shallow and the tension tool fit is sloppy. We shall see how long they last.

So far they’re working. Haven’t used for long. The included screws are garbage. Use your own. The return when the gate isn’t opened much isn’t that great but could be my placement. Followed instructions though. All in all I’m good on four stars overall for price paid Vs alternatives. I’d give 5 stars if the included screws were of decent quality and not drywall screw level.
