OSAGE RIVER Mess Kit with Stove, Cookware, and Utensils

Disclaimer: I haven't used the stove portion of the kit.I purchased this kit to take on my recent bicycle tour (I already have a Jetboil stove to use for the heating part.)It was durable and convenient. The mesh bag easily holds the cup & pot. Although I didn't carry the plastic ladle, plastic bowls, and the little bamboo spoon on my recent trip, they all fit together nicely and are well made. I do like the utensils overall, they fold down and fit into the little bag and are lightweight enough but still substantial enough to feel comfortable to cook with. I'd buy it again if I needed to and recommend it to anyone thinking of purchasing a lightweight mess kit.

Probably more like a 4.5 but overall nice kit. It's only me so the size is fine but I was still surprised at how small it was. I thought of trying to cook some brats in beer and sauerkraut but it might be hard in these. It needs the addition of a small plastic cooking utensil with it. Pretty lightweight. A little hard to reassemble - takes some practice.

It's versatile and full of goodies. Although I'm not sure I'll use the soup spoon much - but maybe. The anodized aluminum is just as good as the stuff you get from MSI or REI. The set packing in to itself is a must - no more searching for the handle or whatever. This is a great little set for a good price.

It seems like a nice set. I haven’t cooked with it yet. It will keep me from grabbing a pot from the kitchen when I go camping. The kit will be easier to pack than a pot with a fixed handle sticking out.

1.25 lbs without any fuel tank. Includes utensils for cooking and eating. the knife fork and spoon for eating are made of metal, which appears to be stainless steel. Mini stove attachment comes with a piezo igniter, so no need for lighter or matches.

Light and compact. Not sure how well non-stick coating will last until a few uses. Everything I was looking for. Been evaluating many in terms of price, components, and size.

So far, I'm really happy with this kit. All of the parts are of good quality and I like the bag that it comes in. I can't wait to take it camping this spring.

I like the nesting abilities of this set, you have a lot of gear in very little space. This set is good quality but could have used a little bit thicker gauge material in it's construction. It serves it's intended purpose very nicely.
