These could well be my acoustic strings for life
If you play finger-style or are moving from a classical guitar that has lighter, looser strings, these (extra light) strings are fabulous. Firstly, all the fret noise of standard acoustic strings is substantially reduced such that you can slide notes and hear the note changing, rather than the slide sound. Secondly, you can bend the strings like you can nylons (or electric guitar strings for that matter), and thirdly, the thinner neck width of an acoustic guitar takes a great deal of getting used to for classical guitar players, but these thin strings provide just enough extra room to avoid most of the fret buzz you get from accidentally touching against an adjacent string as you learn to be more precise (especially for finger-style), and lastly, to me these strings feel almost as comfortable and natural as classical strings; barre chords are just as easy, and they pick, pluck and strum in a more 'organic' way that finally makes acoustic guitar playing a joy for me.

The best
Fabulous strings. I spent three years trying others in an attempt to find a better choice. Failed. Have returned to my first loves...

Pleasantly supprised
Well, what can I say, after years of using Elixir only I decided to give these a try because I once had an old bass guitar with tapewound strings so thought it would be nice on my accoustic guitar. Then it was just WOW! I have to say, I'm really happy with these strings, they are amazing. For me the sting noise is very reduced and I just love the tone of these strings on my guitar. They are really nice to sing along with, look good and feel good to the touch. For years I've always felt the Low E was dull on my guitar, these strings have made that issue disapear and it's really good now. I will not look back.

Excellent strings
Really excellent strings. Good tone, keep in tune well and are buzz free when sliding to a note. They would be 5 stars for me but I feel that they went a bit dull earlier than than I would have expected.

I've used these trings many times, but I don't know why this set in particular sounds different from usual. The A string in particular sounds very dull compared to the others

Smooth but but not flat wound
Roundwound strings that are ground smooth so the top surface is flat. These are perfect for any acoustic guitar that you want to avoid squeaks and scrapes. Mine went on a resonator guitar that I occasionally use for slide. I'd definitely buy more.

So yes I have been playing off / on all sorts of guitars and guitar synths. Ukulele / acoustic flat wound 5 string bass strings and 6 string non flat wound. phew a lifetime!! These strings definitely have 50 % less string noise. HOWEVER I find these are a heavier tension than what I recall to the same gauge and so on one guitar I de tuned down to D which feels comfortable for that particular Guitar and the other I dropped a whole string down in other words I moved the A string to where the Bottom E strings goes. I had to source another G string as the B string is to loose in the G position. Yes this guitar is a little floppy however its tuned to standard tuning and plays really well for my style of playing. AND thats NOT strumming! I would buy these again! :+]

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, montate sulla mia Ibanez PF17 ne ha pulito il suono soprattutto negli spostamenti verticali. Decisamente ha irrobustito il tono e soprattutto il riverbero!!! Da provare!!!

I have used this brand of guitar strings previously, but not this particular type. Very happy with the outcome. They sound great. Very good quality.
