**Q: Will this fit? My truePower has this same design collet. It is 8mm on the (small end), 10-12mm (long end- compressed and relaxed), 25.20mm (length)**
A: no way to be sure but it is likely that it will fit. pay attention to length.

A: This collet is for a 1/4 shaft Burr it fits the inexpensive diegrinder on Amazon

**Q: Sorry to be so remedial, but is this the piece that converts the 1/2 inch to fit 1/4 inch bits?  Lost the original when a friend borrowed it.**
A: This piece helps to hold the 1/4" bit In place. It fits inside the end of the end grinder and with the help of a nut sqeezes the 1/4" shaft of your bit to hold it secure. Hope this was helpful.

**Q: Can i replace my 6 mm collet (makita 3709) with this one? i have 1/4inch bits and they don't fit my 6 mm...**
A: Yes. I use both collets for 6mm and 1/4" shanks.
