Sumind 200 Pcs O Rings Keyboard Clear Rubber Mechanical Keyboard O-Ring

My only mistake in this purchase was thinking that 200 was enough for 2 keyboards. This is enough for 1.5 full keyboards. That's on me. I don't know my numbers. Please check the video for the level of sound. These come from blue switches, which are fairly loud. My wife is very sensitive to sound and so when we got her a blue switch keyboard, we knew we needed to do something to help. She says this takes the edge off so that the typing isn't as sharp. It no longer sounds like she's writing an angry letter to the editorial every time she starts typing. My heart appreciates that. Set up was very easy as you can see in the second and third picture. It comes with a VERY easy tool to take keycaps off and you just slide the o ring right in the middle of the inside. Pop the key back on and bam! You've got it. It sounds quieter, it doesn't interfere with the typing experience in any way. It still feels like your keyboard, it still lights up properly, it's just a little quieter. These were definitely worth getting since they help my wife.

Works perfect! I love my keyboard but it was just a bit too loud for my office (I have the Epomaker Galaxy 100 wisteria switches) and I got these to help! I put 3 o rings on my letters since those are most used & put 1-2 on my other keys depending on use. Results came out perfect, subdued but still has the sound of my keyboard that I like. For reference, the :; key I was pressing is a key with no o rings on it, and the L key has 3 on there. It doesn’t change the feel, responsiveness, or speed when I’m typing either. Overall, great, cheap buy!

I do really like the sound of O-rings on keyboard keycaps- and this package has a very nice amount to get the job done! Nice little case too!

These work for what they are designed. Fit well on my Keychron C2 with brown switches. I wouldn't say they make the keyboard sound better but they do certainly lower the noise level a bit. This won't make the keyboard silent but brought it down to tolerable in my office setting. Too thick to double up on my keys though. Did not affect the feel of the switches when using one ring per key.

These are really nice, especially for the price. It damped the sound and made the keystroke feel significantly better. I stacked mine - 3 to a stem, and I noticed the difference with each ring I added. I ended up not getting enough, and both orders got to me within 1 day. Advice to get them on if you're struggling: open the package and put the rings in the box. Get the needle-nose tweezers (esp. if they curve) and use that to stretch the ring and put it on the stem. The curved tweezers let you push it further down on the stim without ruining them.

You have to look at this for what it is. You either bought a mechanical keyboard, not really understanding what you were getting, OR, your significant other despises you for having a loud keyboard (my case). Either way, the nature of a mechanical keyboard is to make noise. These will DAMPEN the noise; specifically, the sound that is created by either the fact that it was a cheap keyboard (my case), or, you're a hard typist (also, my case). I bought these for my $30 blue switch keyboard (my $70 brown switch keyboard sounds amazing). These do actually make a little bit of a difference, but you have to understand that the larger keys are still going to be louder, and you're not going to completely eliminate the clacking when you bottom out the keys. They're also not going to remove the sound of the switch itself. They help, overall. Personally, I think these are worth it...but again, and I can't stress this enough, these will not make a significant difference.

These worked surprisingly well for my keyboard as the shift and enter and space all sound really different from my other keys. These worked quite well to quite them down to a much better level to make it less of a distractions for those around me while I'm typing for long periods. Its also wonderful that it came with a case and way more then i needed which means i have spares and can even mod a friends keyboard with them as well.

I purchased the 200 Pieces O Ring Keyboard Clear Rubber O Rings Keyboard Dampeners with Plastic Storage, and while it is a good product overall, it did not meet all my expectations. While the rubber o-rings did help reduce the noise level of my keyboard, it did not eliminate it completely. So, if you're looking for a completely silent keyboard, this product may not be the best option.

If you buy these O-rings to cut down the noise of your Keycaps, thwy do not seem to really work. I fitted them onto my Fnatic Ministreak with Cherry Silent Red switches. Went from fitting 1 to 3 to test the effect. Sound was not really impacted, but with 2 or more o-rings fitted, I started missing keystrokes. Eventually removed all of them.

Love this makes my keyboard a bit more quiet and it’s very cheap. The shipping was just a day. It came with a nice box you can keep the rest in or maybe if you’ve finished them to use for something else. Amazing though my parents don’t hear my keyboard anymore and can finally sleep peacefully!
