Review: Exactly what I needed! - Having a mixture of old and new radiators, and being unable to find a plumber willing to undertake an upgrade of the old radiator connectors because two of the old thermostats had failed, I fitted these adaptors and bought new thermostats to go on top. Easy to fit and does the job until I can finally get a plumber to sort it all out properly. Thx. Review: Drayton TRV3 workaround - I had unsuccessfully tried to locate an adapter to enable a Drayton Wiser wireless thermostatic valve to fit an old Drayton TRV3 radiator valve. Disappointingly Drayton customer services were of no help. Having tried three other adapters I've been able to make this one work. On its own the there isn't enough travel on the metal piston but by adding three 1p pieces inside the adapter and then screwing onto the valve it looks to be working fine. The adapter appears sturdy and well made. I've since bought another three.
