Nest Box Queen Ceramic Chicken Nest Eggs for Nest Box Training - 2 Pack (Blue)

I've got a mix variety of banthem chickens and they somehow don't realize the size or color difference. They stopped laying in random spots after putting the "eggs" in. I removed the "eggs" for a while until they started pecking at my brooding eggs, I put "eggs" back and no more pecking. After the chick's were born i took the "eggs" back out and saul good. They look legit, whatever pecking the chickens did didn't leave one mark(all their breaks are still intact and pointy) and if it's not the same as a grocery store jumbo it's only a little heavier.

These worked perfectly. My chickens tend to lay adjacent to these every time! Perfect!

These eggs are easy to mistake for real eggs due to their size, weight, and appearance. I ended up marking them with a Sharpie so I could tell the fake ones from the real ones! My hens can't tell the difference between these eggs and ones laid by other members of the flock, which has stopped egg-pecking behavior and assisted new layers to know where to lay their eggs. I think they're worth every penny and will last vrtually forever because they're ceramic, as long as I don't drop them on concerte.

We had an egg eater in our chicken coop, so I purchased these so they'd think twice. So far they have helped out, and our new layer's like to use the nesting boxes they are in. The fake egg is the one on the left. It did not come marked up like that; our chickens decorated it with mud and poo. These eggs would also be great for crafts/decorations.
