Sunshimmer Water Resistant Instant Tan Wash Off Matte - Medium

I have used this product for years and I’m very glad to see it is still being made, although the packaging has been updated. This is a *wash off* tan product. It comes as a thick, darkly stained, gel-like liquid which needs to be applied with a glove/mitt or a sponge of some sort as it is staining to the hands, however it washes off with soap and water. I use this mainly for my face all year round and I apply it instead of/in combination with a foundation. I apply it with a foundation brush in circular motions and it gives a tanned warm glow without blemish coverage, so more of a stain, but it looks natural because of that, and often it’s all I need to wake up some glow. You only need a very small amount of product as it goes a long way. I have dark skin so I use the darkest shade, but it is quite dark. In the summer I use this on my body, especially my legs and it looks really natural (and can pass at thin denier tanned tights) it doesn’t streak if you apply quickly in circular motions and it is not waterproof. It dries very quickly and completely, feels comfortable and does not transfer to clothes unless you apply it an area that’s likely to get sweaty. Note: do not use immediately after a moisturiser or it will roll into tiny balls on your skin, let your moisturiser absorb completely first and don’t use anything too greasy, use a high water content moisturiser. Quick and easy to use for a temporary summer glow. Years of use means I can recommend this product.

I haven’t purchased this since my younger days and thought I’d give it another shot! OMG - so easy to apply (I used a tanning brush). This tan is good for one day needed tans as does go a bit blotchy if get wet but once it’s applied, it’s not tacky like most tans and doesn’t give streaks throughout the day. I tend to apply this if I’m wearing shorts as it makes my legs look 100% better. Literally takes 5-10 minutes to apply and dries into the skin so fast so can get on with the day! Brilliant product.

Good do fat, used this many years ago, fabric if you want instant colour and not the risk of fake tan developing over time all patchy. Went on so smoothly and you only need a little set a time (used on arms with a separately bought application brush).

I love this product. It stays on for at least 24 hours and gives a nice natural tan. It even smells nice too.

The medium was way too dark for my skin (which was my fault), but it's rather orange. The product went on ok, using a tanning brush. It wasn't very good with water or heat though. I had fingerprints on my thigh, having rested my hand there for 5 minutes. Make sure to wear gloves when you apply it as it's really hard to get off. I couldn't even after using a scrub mitt. Was fine by the next day though.

Love this product and used for years. No transfer onto clothes but I only use on my face. Great value and lasts for a long time.

Really natural looking I’ve used this for years and I can’t live without it 😂 I don’t wear makeup at all, never have, so I use this product to even out my skin blemishes and it also gives me a healthy look it’s brilliant It does dry quickly while applying so I mix a bit of moisturiser (Johnson’s baby lotion) with it and it does the trick I’m 58 years old now and I’ve used it as long as I can remember.. honestly, every day, and it lasts all day it’s part of my morning routine 😀

I really like this product! Great coverage, easy to apply. Non-transferring to clothes. I followed everyone's lead on making sure it is fully dry before getting dressed. It didn't leave extra pigment on the knees, ankles, or elbows, which is a first for me! I used a self tanner brush to apply and it was easy to evenly apply. It adds a nice color boost without appearing orange. Would definitey recommend and I will buy again!

I've used this product for years. I airbrush tan, so my face wears off the fastest and this is a good product to get me until my next tan. It is very natural looking, but it works better when you mix it with a dab of face cream to help it blend better.

I've been using this product for years - with a glove/pad is best but also works fine with your hands. Goes on easily and smoothly, you can see it as it goes on so no nasty surprises later! No night before prep required. Dries quickly and washes off easily in the shower.

Non si tratta di una crema abbronzante ne di un autoabbronzante. E' una crema colorata che dona una colorazione abbronzata temporanea e che va via con un lavaggio con sapone. Anche se sulla confezione è dichiarato essere water resistant, in realtà non lo è pertanto ne sconsiglio l'uso in piscina, al mare o nelle giornate di pioggia. A me il prodotto piace moltissimo, lo uso per dare un bel colore abbronzato alle gambe quando uso gonne o shorts. Una confezione dura parecchio, circa tutta l'estate. Consigliato!
