Immediately place a new battery in it.
The battery provided will die immediately, so save the headache and add your own upon arrival. The alarm is LOUD. Perfect for distracted children during activities. Vibrant characters next to the numerical points. This is a great tool for teaching time, transitions and number sense. We bought this at the recommendation of our OT and couldn’t be happier. It’s even great for “racing” games - such as beating the clock in cleaning up. Or timing how long to brush teeth. All small children would benefit from this device.

Works well for kids (and parents) with time difficulties.
Helps my small kid understand how much time he has let to do things and reduces arguments about it. Has also helped us hold our ground and somewhat stick to a more structured bedtime routine.

Small but sturdy and durable
All my son asked for from Santa was a timer… not sure why but this one has been great! It’s very small and the buzzer is not super loud. I love that it has the picture lined up with the time so that I can ask him to set it to a certain time and even though he is too young to recognize the numbers he can recognize the picture and still set the time. He carries it around everywhere and loves setting it. It has been great.

Childcare is more manageable now
My toddler has no concept of time. This cute little clock (though it feels a little overpriced) communicates time easily to her and helps her transition between activities. It helps her accept when a certain period of time is over- like play time, breakfast or the time before bed. I greatly appreciate the small ease it has brought into our daily life

Small and cute visual timer
The first one I got worked great a handful of times and then just stopped working. I thought it was because the screen itself was broken but apparently it’s supposed to have the slit in the top of it. I returned and got a new one. That one didn’t work for 2 min timer but worked for 5 min so I figured you can only set it on the 5 min increments. But now after seeing someone say replace the battery, I’m going to do that and see if it works better. The alarm on it is pretty loud and it has 2 volume options. Overall, it’s small and cute visual timer great for little kids.

So helpful for toddler!
Has been so helpful for my toddler in learning patience and taking turns. Young kids don’t know how long “in a minute” is so having the visual timer has been super helpful. I can ask him to turn it to a certain animal to set it himself. It’s a good medium level volume. I do wish it was a bit sturdier as it cracked after a drop.

A great item we use every day
My 4-year-old can't tell time, nor does he grasp the concept, but he can see how much blue is left until the beeping noise, and that means it's naptime/bedtime/time to leave. We use this multiple times a day every day and it's very helpful. Not only does it make things better for our son, but it is also easy for us to set a time and then just listen for the loud beep too, instead of looking at the clock.
