I recently installed the TIMCO Timloc Plastic Hinged Loft Access Door, and I’m really pleased with the quality and functionality. It’s a well-designed, sturdy access panel that provides a clean and modern look for my loft entry. And it's insulated already. Item was a good price, arrived quickly and was well packaged. Easy to install and looks good. Important to note that NO OPERATING POLE is included (I assumed it would be, or how else to open?. Surely this should be mentioned in the listing?).

Very easy to fit and decent quality just one drawback. Decent quality hatch. Fitted it in an hour and that included some alterations to the hatch size. What surprised me was there was a tip provided to unlock the hatch but no pole to attach it to. Pretty stupid if you ask me. Luckily had something to fit but come on.. bit of plastic rod would do the job. Another thing noted wa it's not as white as imagined. 1 star lost due to the no opening rod!

You have to make a hole for the hatch to fit in that is exactly the right size, which on older houses may require a bit of cutting and packing with timber as the joists won't necessarily be entirely square or of the required dimensions. Once that's done and the hole is the right length and width and round maybe at least 10cm deep, to include plasterboard on the ceiling, fitting is very easy and result looks good and works very well. You are provided with a plastic key to fit on the end of a pole, to lock and unlock the hatch from floor level, but not the pole. This probably makes sense as not everyone will be the same height or have the same height ceiling. A piece of dowel did the job well, though I did have to glue the key onto it, to stop it turning on the dowel rather than unlocking the hatch, even though the fit on the dowel was tight. Not a big problem, or alternatively one could screw the key onto the pole, with a little judicious drilling.

I was gifted a ladder to make entry to the small loft hatch easier but needed to extend the current hatch size. This hatch came quickly and was very easy to install. I reinforced the current beams, cut an extra 10cm of plasterboard out and screwed it all up, was very easy with the only issue being one corner getting slightly stuck but think this was me overtightening the screws. The hatch was easy to lock into place and it all just works, I now have easy access to my loft and at a very cheap price.

Does the job, easy to fit but to flimsy to hold its shape. You get what you paid for and once installed looks good

Se ajusta a lo ofrecido, buena terminación y sin ningún problema en el montaje. Buena relación calidad precio. Bien protegido y embalado. Cumple perfectamente su función y no cuesta abrir ni cerrarlo. Desde mi punto de vista recomendable.

Habe ein Dachluke gesucht die nicht so groß ist aber ich noch durchkomme. Diese wurde schnell geliefert und konnte ohne Probleme angebaut werden. Der Kunststoff ist nicht der schönste aber damit lässt sich leben, schaue ja nicht den ganzen Tag an die Decke.
