It was confusing trying to select a new remote for the old one pictured here that wasn't working well. Took a chance and it definitely works great. Here are two photos, the first of the old remote that it replaces, and then the instructions.

This is a one button compact remote for several obsolete Overhead Door models. (Kuddos to Overhead Door as my opener still works flawlessly after 24 years.) Instructions are included, setup takes less than 30 seconds and range is very good. The remote comes with a visor clip and on the visor is where it should stay. The key ring option is useless as the button is not recessed and very prone to accidental activation from the slightest pressure inside a pants pocket or purse.This is a basic remote that does its one job very well. Anyone seeking "multifunctional" should look elsewhere.

I bought this to use with our Overhead Door Python 2 opener. It works perfectly and was super easy to program.

This little remote is amazing! It programmed to my garage opener before I even got off the ladder! Its durable, it convienent to have on a key ring or for me, in my zipped motorcycle jacket pocket! The push button is sturdy so no worries of accidenlty pushing it. I push to open my garage as inhit the bottom of the driveway and my garage door detects my remote everytime. Would highly recommend it so much so I'm thinking of buying other to replace the original big bulky one. As for how long it will last, no idea, I'll follow up on that when the time comes.

This is a quick replacement and worked wonders. I have a overhead door (Genie) model from the early 1990's in my garage, and one of my original clickers went out. This was a great replacement. Worked perfectly!

I got two of these remotes, one for my car visor and one to keep in the kitchen so that I can open the garage door before I go out to get in the car. This remote is a little smaller than the three button remote but when driving it is easier to find the larger round button than the rectangular one on the three button version. I have found that when I push the button firmly and hold it down for a half second or so it will open the garage door from a half block away. I highly recommend this item.

Best money I ever spent! I'm in a unit with a detached garage that has a finicky keypad. I am in and out of my garage multiple times a day and instead of struggling with my handful to operate the keypad or keeping up with the standard visor opener...I have this little garage fob!!! It makes my life so much easier plus if my keypad battery dies (again) with my car/visor opener inside...I have another option! The fob took less than 2 minutes to program and has a better range than my visor opener. The fob is even smaller than my Honda key fob! Definitely super handy as a back up opener or a detached garage user! You can add it to your keychain or attach the visor clip!

We were looking to replace our remote garage door openers that came with our new home 10 years ago. We wanted a product made by the original door maker (Overhead Door Co.) and found the product here on Amazon. Specifically we wanted remotes with the "CodeDodger" technology in a effort to be more secure. The other generic openers would be compatible with the door, but lacked the "CodeDodger" technology and not as secure (in my opinion) The product arrived a head of schedule and was easy to program. The remotes work great. We also received a separate notice from the supplier letting us know our units had shipped with tracking details. Thank you OHD parts online and Amazon!!
