Good quality product great for replacing cd disk caddy it is compatible and easy to use.

Got the caddy today for rupees 150. Installation was quite straightforward, please note, I've prior experience and had watched video for my laptop model already. Using it in my Lenovo g50-30 model on an already failing seagate HDD which came with laptop. Used minitool partition wizard technician version to copy OS partition to crucial SSD 500 GB. Please note, the caddy does not have the mounting screws which hold caddy in place in laptop, so you need to use the screw and latch from your DVD drive. Also, the positioning of screws is a bit off place, but that's not a problem to working of product in nay sense, just the screw will become somewhat tilted during course of tightening. Also, you can use the face mount of your DVD drive if the caddy feel awkward to you without that. But you can't expect everything from such a cheaply priced product. Overall, it's a nice product. You can go for it without having a second thought about quality or "will it work?" dilemma.

The package arrived as you see in the image. The first time I held it in my hand it weighed almost nothing which I did not expect and I thought that was impressive. Came with the required screws and screwdriver to mount hard disk or SSD. I used it to reuse my harddisk in my laptop which got updated to SSD and I removed the DVD drive which is not used much at this time and age which is exactly where this caddy fits. The installation is quiet easy and the performance and speed I think depends on the storage device and not on this caddy and is good enough for my needs. There is two size in which this caddy is available in try to find the correct size that will fit your laptop. A quick Google search should help you with that. And it only fits 2.5 inch HDD or SSD. No problem with the connectivity once it's locked in place with the screw to the laptop. Overall a good product that works as intended so I am giving it 5 stars. I don't expect anything to go wrong with this caddy but if I run into anything interesting I will update this review with my observations

The screws were missing, the screwdriver was of low quality, and the material seems very flimsy. Given its cheap price, it is functional.

Package was broken and opened, not sealed at all. But perfectly fit ho gaya in my HP laptop. Screwdriver and nuts came along in package. That's another plus point. Great product overall. Must buy product to extend laptop storage.
