Great for speaker box charger
I used this in a home made speaker box that I built. These worked great to have a quick disconnect for the charger.

Great plugs
Worked great to build this mobile power box for our hunting blind. The plugs allow us to connect multiple 12v accessories to the box and a solar panel.

Great product
Great for what I needed but the wiring is very thin. I was expecting more wire. I had a few connection issues but easily fixed with solder. I’ve bought (3) times with no issues.

Good quality connectors.
Nothing to dislike about these power connectors at all. tight fit, the correct gauge wire for the amperage.

Cheating on the product. The wire gauge on the plugs is much smaller than
The wire gauge on the plugs is much smaller than advertised. It is completely unable to meet the specifications advertised of 5 A. Running 5 A with an adjustable DC power supply makes the wire burning hot and if I left it, it would probably smoke and melt. And this happens very quickly in a cooler room. Definitely not 20 AWG

Female jack is good. Male jack not so much
Female jack has nice tinned copper wire. I cut off the tinned tip and stripped it back to see a nice bundle of tinned copper srands. Male jack has bare copper strands, and is a very fine gauge. If you're buying this for the female jack like I did it's not a big deal but the male wires are too fine to be of much use.

Thin thin thin
Other reviewers complained about how thing the wire was on the plug side. I read that it was 24ga wire which is what I needed so I ordered it anyway. Well, they were right. The plastic outer part is nice and thick, but the wire is very flimsy and much smaller than the 24ga wire I was going to connect it to. I posted two photos for reference. One shows how thin the wire is inside the nice thick sheath. The other photo shows the actual strands. The one on the left that looks like hairs is what this product came with. The other one is the regular 24ga wire I needed to connect it to. You can clearly see the difference. It’s hard to zoom in for size but the combined wire is definitely smaller. Made me nervous about the V or A rating. In addition to the thin wires, it turns out that of the three I tried, two didn’t work. Meaning the wiring inside the plug end must not be connected because no power would flow. I wish it were better. These are exactly what I need. However, questionable gauge rating and a 66% defect rate is too much for me. I am returning them.
