Bosch ProPower MFW68660 - meat grinder - black

I've been using the Bosch meat grinder for couple of times, but I’m truly impressed. From the very first use, it was clear that this is a high-quality, well-engineered product. The build feels solid and durable — exactly what you would expect from German craftsmanship. It handles all types of meat effortlessly and grinds quickly without overheating. I was looking for a meat mincer manufactured by a reputed brand. There were so many chinese made products out there, flooded into the market. Some Identical looking but with different names. There was Kenwood, a british brand, but I preferred this one as Bosch products have served me well in the past. Although, the Bosch mincer is much more expensive, it is all worth it, I think. I have used it twice and it is a pleasure to use and clean. It is also compact and doesn't take a lot of space at all. It is sturdy and made from good quality steel. It is posted from Germany and has a German cord. It was not a problem as I already have an universal adaptor. The actual rating of the motor is 800W. There was a review saying that it comes with attachments made from plastic to go with metal parts. It's not true, to be fair. The attachments do have separate plastic fixtures. It is also useful as a grater and juicer, which I have not tested yet. I will post a link for a 'opening of the box' video and another which will be a 'functions review' video as I didn't find any, when I was looking. If things take a nasty turn, God forbid, I will update this review accordingly. ****************************************************************************************************************** It is the 4th of April, 2021. We have used this product over the years now. We have not complaints whatsoever. It still does what it is meant to. Some asked if it can handle chicken bones ... Sorry, never tried that and personally we avoid chicken bones and they go straight into the food waste bin. I don't see why it can't handle chicken. It is sturdy enough. I will have to post that opening video soon. Will update this with a link asap.

truly quality impressive machine

Very good as meat grinder. The plastic accessories to slice and grate are useless. The grating or slicing metal accessory is not fixed to the gear, so it keeps falling off. The gear that goes into the machine's gear is in plastic, after a very short time it heats up in a way that will make it loose its grip. I bought is as a meat grinder, so fine for me, but why do they keep on producing heavy duty appliances with plastic gear? Do the designers/engineers actually try the appliances they make?
