The King is dedicated to keeping the kingdom safe from its evil foes. The royal storybook King costume is a blue shirt with an attached burgundy cape that is decorated with faux ermine fur. It includes a medallion with fabric chain trim, a belt, and a sculpted crown. Review: Solid costume! - Had to be the first to review in case anyone wants to pick this up for Halloween. I searched all over for a king costume as I'm decorating my house as a castle/dungeon theme for Halloween. Got to be King of the Castle :) Just arrived, great first impression! Pros: Tunic embroidery is good quality Cape is nice Cons: 'Belt' is a strip of pleather with Velcro. It works, but I'd consider picking up a nicer one if you want to kick it up a notch. Crown is two pieces of heavy rubber, held together by 4 plugs, and is a bit big for my medium sized head. I'm probably going to want to glue it and put some foam or something in it so it doesn't make my ears stick out! Neutral / other comments: It's a pretty thin material, so will be great in hot conditions, but you may want a layer underneath if taking it out trick or treating or in colder weather. Medallion/chain is alright. It looks good with the costume but not particularly good nor bad quality. It's two pieces.. a plastic pin and a gold rope braid. Final comments: Happy with my purchase, has all parts necessary for a costume and ready to wear out of the box. Could use some tweaking or additional upgrades to make it better. Do recommend. The adults all dressed in character! The King costume was so nice! It fits true to size. The crown was small and uncomfortable to the point he didn't wear it. Nice costume
Nice costume! The crown is a bit cheap looking. We ordered a different one and used that instead of the one that came with the costume. But otherwise the costume looks good! 👍 Was pleased with it!

Great fit and durable, will get a lot of attention.
I only wore this costume once: the occasion was celebrating Halloween on a cruise ship, and it got a lot of attention. Quite a few people wanted to get a picture with me and one women even wanted to kiss me. Who would've expected that? After that night, we donated it to the ship's costume department.

Nice costume
Beautiful costume, but fits a little small. A size small/medium would fit my slim husband (5’11” and 160 lbs, 31” waist), but it didn’t fit a slightly larger guy (5’11”, 185 lbs, est. a 34” waist). However the large did fit the slightly larger guy perfectly. We had him wear it with black sweatpants that he pushed up to his knee and white socks for a more baroque look. Normal, tied dress shoes worked with it as well.
