5-in-1 Decibel Meter - 30-130dB Range Wall Mount Sound Level Meter, 11" Large LED Display Noise, Temperature & Humidity, Time Measurement Meter for Home, Classroom, Wall Hanging Sound Decibel Meter

I purchased two of them to have in different parts of my studio space. Like others said at lower decibels the meters is not accurate but in testing it seems like around 85 dB and higher. It is pretty accurate to my meter.One of the two that I purchased had a failed section of the digital numbers so it’s going back.The long cord is nice.

I really like the functions of the clock the size, accuracy and noise level is at a very decent sound. The only thing I would do differently if I was to purchase another one would be to order the white display color one. I purchased the blue display but kind of hard for me to read from a distance.

I was looking for a sound level monitor to track noise levels at my house. I considered a DIY approach, but the cost and time involved made me look for pre-built options. This device was recommended, and after reading reviews, I decided to purchase it, thinking worst case, I could even take it apart to learn from it if it didn't meet my needs.The device arrived quickly, in basic packaging: the typical smiley box with the device and a USB-A to barrel power connector. No instructions were included. The device itself is a small, lightweight plastic box with four clicky buttons on top and a barrel connector port on the side. The display is large and bright, showing time, temperature, humidity, and sound level.Unfortunately, my experience with the device's functionality has been disappointing. First, the buttons are very loud, registering over 100dB on the sound meter when pressed. They also seem to only be used for setting the clock. There's no way to adjust the display brightness, which is a problem because it's excessively bright.More importantly, the sound level readings inaccurate at low levels. The lowest reading I've seen is 43.8dB. The description says it measures down to 30db. I also compared the temperature and humidity readings against my smart thermostat. There was a 9% difference in humidity and a 5-degree difference in temperature. While the time displayed was accurate, this is a minor positive compared to the other issues.Overall, this sound level monitor doesn't meet my needs. The loud buttons, lack of brightness control, and questionable accuracy make it unsuitable for my purposes. I would not recommend this product.[UPDATE: The buttons do adjust the brightness ... a little.]

Update: The Company reached out to me and will investigate the issues. They have replaced the decibel meter without having to return the old one. The replacement is working well. I no longer have the extreme impossible values show up every now and then, which is an improvement. The face emotion is still green when it is 82 degrees inside. If the Company were to allow adjustments to the face emotion icon to values that the individual believes to be "Green", "Orange", and "Red", it would solve this issue. For now, I give it 4 stars for this and 5 stars for functionality.The face emotion is not adjustable; you have to accept whatever the Company believes that makes this product. I do not think 82degreesF in an area is comfortable; yet the face is green. The temperature and humidity goes out of whack every now and then showing impossible levels. It usually resets to normal, but flickers to no way on Earth numbers. Readable from a distance and nice display. I just expected a bit higher quality product.

Good looking unit that mounts easily enough. Guitar player here trying to keep volume down a little. Doesn’t seem super accurate but close enough. Biggest problem so far is battery life, which may be a deal breaker. Charged it overnight but battery was dead less than 24 hours later. Could leave it plugged in but the ugly cord running down the wall negates the reason of buying a battery operated device. Will try charging longer and turning brightness down to low and try again, but it’s likely going back.

After upgrading my home A/V system to much higher power, I got curious as to how loud (dBs) my system was playing. I came across this clock with real-time meter built in and it looked like just the thing. I really didn't want a hand-held dB meter. This thing can show the sound level at all times. It's been a cool conversation starter. It does not run for long on battery power so I keep it plugged in at all times. Do not expect it to run for long periods on just the battery. I happy I bought it and have reccomended it to friends.

The media could not be loaded. The decimal meter arrive on time and was packaged neatly. The size is great for my shop easy to see everything on the display. The decimal meter seems to work perfectly it is quick to respond to noise changes. It is a great value for the money. I would recommend and may purchase another myself foe work.
