Q: how long will the color changing last after application

Purchased but ended up going with a professional printer experienced with hydrochromic ink. A single coat is slightly translucent. Best application is two coats with differing mesh counts or slightly different overlapping patterns if screen printing. All coats are white so the patterns aren't visible if they overlap properly but this helps better obscure the hidden image when it's in the dry state. The color change (nearly translucent) lasts a few minutes until the material begins to dry. Again, didn't use this specific product on the final but purchased it while experimenting. Best!

Q: Would this work on fabric or leather?

On leather i don't know, but on fabric it should work. I had to put some water to it so that it worked properly with the screenprinting.
