Great product but as others have stated, items attached do randomly work free, so only use these as a secondary form of security, i.e. keys in a pocket and also secured by the carabiner. If something of value is secured solely to carabiner, after a matter of time it will fall off, just hope you see it when it does.

Cant fault design, but items can come unattached if not careful, good for attaching to loops on trousers.Cant trust it hold my keys, but there are better options that

Bear in mind that this type of carabiner does NOT lock and is liable to inexplicably release thin items such as keyrings.I fit a piece of shrink fit tubing over the "Spring End" and the end of the "S" to lock them together.Use that end for keys etc.The other end which I slip through a belt loop has never accidentally detached.I like the size 3 which for some reason is not available as a locking unit in the UK.Well made and recommended bearing in mind the above.

Love it, much better than the budget carabiners you get in places like Trespass. I have been using it to attach a lens case to my camera bag. It's strong enough to give me peace of mind that my £500 lens isn't going to fall off and get broken

It says on it that it can only lift upto 11kg. Me and some friends felt the need to test this with a bucket of lead weight and it turns out it can lift closer to 80kg before it breaks (this is after it had been exposed to salt water). Next time I get one I might test the "NOT FOR CLIMBING" warning.

Bought for hanging a bird-feeder which holds 6 lbs of sunflower seed, for which purpose it works admirably.The squirrels aren't clever enough or sufficiently dexterous to dislodge it, while it's easy for me to use without dropping and losing when dealing with it on frosty days.

I have a love hate opinion of this carabiner. On one hand it's a perfect size for holding a decent bunch of keys, feels very sturdy and is well constructed. So why only 3 stars? Well on a couple of occasions my keyring has managed to worm it's way off. Not quite sure how, but maybe the spring tension just isn't quite high enough. Luckily both times I spotted them falling off but I fear if I was walking on grass I wouldn't have heard them fall - not exactly ideal for the purpose of this carabiner! I still use it but have taken the precaution of hanging the keys of my belt loop into my pocket.

Work very well, bought no cheaper ones as well and not as well made

I like that these are strong and they come in different sizes to hold different loads. I use them inside my hiking backpack to attach my hydration bladder to. The bladder I have is generic and so is my hiking backpack. I needed a way to connect the holders on each which didn't align with one another. Adding these to the existing clips gave me the extra few inches I needed to attach the hydration bladder. They hold the 3L hydration bladder with ease. Good quality product!
