I was really looking forward to this case, I’ve had speck cases on my MacBooks since 2014 and they’ve been great. This isn’t the case for this case, no pun intended. It fits on the computer fine. But the placement of the snaps that hold the case to the computer aren’t well thought out and cause the laptop to not fully close. This may not be a problem for some people. But this makes the computer extremely vulnerable to wear and things scratching the screen. I would get another one if I was confident that it would fit correctly. And yes. I put it on my computer every which way I could and I know for a fact it isn’t user error.

When I purchased the new MacBook, I had to get this case! Not only is it sleek/modern, it’s durable and provides great protection. It also adds texture to the laptop which is great for gripping it.

I have not dropped my laptop, but somehow have found 3-4 cracks in the bottom casing in the last few months. Not very durable in my opinion.

Dropped my computer and it saved it big time, I bout the cheap cases before but this one is the real deal. Gives great sturdiness and I enjoy using it for my work purposes. It definitely gives weight and gives a nice feel, would recommend this case to others.

Perfect and great price too.

I bought this case one year ago and it basically fell apart within six month. The plastic just seems to chip, crack, and somewhat disintegrate. Speck replaced the first case and it did the same thing within six months again. Because the original case was outside of the one year warranty they told me they could do anything about the replacement case, so not a one off.The case was not misused; sits on my table within my home only. In my opinion, this case was JUNK!!

Fits pretty well overall. A couple minor things.The top cover fits ok. Not great. It’s actually strong and does not allow the screen to set flat against the bottom. But it’s very minor.There is and edge on the bottom cover on the back that is a bit sharp. I lightly knocked the edge down with a nail file. Again very minor and I would still buy this cover without hesitation compared to what else is out there.It won’t disappoint.
