Good device and works well when setup as a tcp/ip connection. This is a network extender and not totally a bridge even though it works as one. Manufacture tech and service support is outstanding.

Very please with this product. Very easy to set up, is compatible with my LG tv which has made it wireless again after many years of connecting it via a cable.

Easy to set up and works as I wanted. All good except the range which is pretty poor so I ended up installing a BT WiFi disk which solved this issue. 4 stars for now, lets see how long this one lasts for

Easy to install, but if you're TV doesn't have build in WIFi and you want to connect it to the Internet via the ethernet cable, it connects and works perfectly... but in my case every time my TV powered off, I had to go downstairs and press the WPS button and run back upstairs to press the button on the extender or reset it... I used it for a few days and got fed up with it!!! It's currently back in it's box, at back off the wardrobe where it will probably stay because amazon returns are not as straight forward as taking it to the post office .. so I wasted my money buying this as well as the ethernet cable I bought to go with it. I bought an amazon fire stick and it work's perfectly in my TV and connects to the WiFi, also got more apps on their to watch TV then my smart TV did... perfect upgrade for an older smart TV

I'm giving this three stars with the following caveats: - three stars from a technical user - have not tested this as a repeater, the intended purpose was to use as a standalone WiFi client to provide an Ethernet connection into my nomad lab setup - this review focuses on its Ethernet port / bridging functionality The device is made for home users. There is virtually no configuration available other than allowing it to connect it to an existing WiFi and customising the repeated SSIDs. That's all. Otherwise the device is a complete black box. No open firmware available and no information about the SoC / wireless chipset used - I'd have to pry it open to find out or spend time I don't have on a firmware blob reverse engineering project. Until you set up a trafic mirroring testbed, you have no idea: - does it run its own DHCP? - does it run STP? - is it a proper bridge or merely a software-based media converter? The "1200 Mbps" designation obviously only concerns the WiFi repeater part - it only has a Fast Ethernet port (100 Mbps), think printer and whatnot. The device evidently either doesn't forward (route? who knows) all traffic, for example you are unable to establish IPSec VPN tunnels when behind its Ethernet port. Yet to be seen why - fragmentation issues? MTU issues? Does it simply swallow UDP 500? Can't tell. An odd black box that mostly works.

I picked up on a couple of other reviewers who had bought this specifically to use with the BT TV box (which only has a wired network capability), instead of having to use the BT extenders through the mains cabling. While the extenders can work well, I found the signal to the box dropped out completely at certain points in the evening (no idea why, maybe interference on the mains cable), causing it to show an error for a while until it reconnected. Usually at crucial points in football games! It drove me mad. This was very easy to setup with my BT router. I used the WPS auto facility with the wifi adaptor plugged in to a power source close to the router (there are alternative ways). Then I unplugged the adaptor and took it downstairs to the living room. It's best to have the adaptor a few feet above floor level. Since the 3-pin plug is built on the back of it, and all our sockets are floor level, I used a power extension cable to place it behind the TV, close to the box. The living room has one of BT's wifi extender disc units in it, since my router is upstairs; obviously, how well the adaptor will work for you will depend on the strength of the wifi signal you're getting in the room where your BT TV box (and adaptor) is placed. The two are wired together with a standard ethernet cable (a short one is supplied with the adaptor, which was fine for me). This wifi adaptor gets a recommendation from me.

Been using this for years to connect my gaming PC to the home internet, as my motherboard doesn't have onboard wifi. Works brilliantly and never once had issues with signal strength or range, even at long distances from my router. The setup is fairly straightforward using the included instructions, and can also be used as a range extender - although I haven't used it for this. Definitely recommended!

Finalmente con questo supporto ho risolto ilproblema di poter gestire la mia stampante non wifi di metterla in rete familiare e poter stampare in tutta casa

L'installation a été super simple. Je voulais relier mon ordinateur ethernet (sans wifi) à ma box dont la configuration de son emplacement par rapport à l'ordinateur ne permettait pas une liaison filaire. J'ai branché le convertisseur à côté de l'ordinateur, j'ai branché le câble ethernet entre les 2, j'ai allumé mon ordi, il m'a proposé après l'avoir démarrer une connexion réseau, j'ai validé, il m'a proposé de choisir ma box, de rentrer la clé, il m'a demandé de valider la connexion et c'était fini. Pas de soucis à signaler. Remarque : je n'ai pas pu utiliser le wps car ma box n'en dispose pas. L'installation a été possible et facile

Ich nurtze das Gerät zum Empfang des WLAN Signals, um per LAN ein anderes Gerät ins Heimnetz einzubinden. Die Einrichtung war innerhalb von Minuten gemacht, keine Verbindungsabbrüche. Funktioniert auch mit einer FritzBox (war nicht bei jedem Hersteller so)
