This case works great to protect your Surface Pro 9 from bumps and scrapes. It fits the tablet perfectly. The cutouts are all where they belong. It doesn't add too much bulk. Using with the signature keyboard with the slim pen works great. You can adjust the angle of the tablet with the keyboard attached. You don't use the Surface kickstand, that is trapped inside the back cover. The cover itself is used to prop up the tablet. The only complaint I have is when trying to use the tablet in portrait mode and to take notes with the pen. The case doesn't allow you to stand the tablet in portrait mode. You cannot fold the cover and the keyboard around the back and lay it on a table to take notes. You can remove the keyboard and fold the cover behind the tablet, but it doesn't sit flat and rocks a little while taking notes. Without this cover you can fold the Microsoft keyboard cover around the back and it sits flat on a table to take notes with the pen. If you only use your tablet in landscape mode, this cover is perfect.

I took a chance on this for my Surface Pro X since it is not explicitly mentioned in the item description as a supported model. I know that the X is very similar to the newer designs so I decided to try it out. The Surface Pro X does fit, however the fit is not perfect. The X seems to be slightly thinner so there's a gap, however so far it is working and has not fallen out of the corner clips. The case itself has a nice quality feel with the material. The magnetic flap holds closed very well and the interior material has a softer, velour type feel. Keep in mind though, this case provides limited side protection as only the corners of the Surface clip in the the case back. With this folio style of case, you do trade the functionality of the built in Surface stand for the angle of what the case can offer by sliding the Surface forwards or backwards. I really like the styling and protection this folio case does offer for traveling with my Surface Pro. If you have the correct model of Surface, I would recommend this case for keeping it protected and accessible on the go.

I got a Surface Pro X to replace a tablet. It works well as that replacement, but is a real computer. I also got a Signature keyboard, which I like better than the touch keyboard on the Surface (or my old tablet) for text entry. I think the kickstand on the Pro X is okay, but I got this cover because I thought it would function better with the keyboard than the kickstand does. I was right. The cover sets up easier with the keyboard than does the kickstand. It also works better as a laptop setup than does the kickstand. With the keyboard and the cover, the stowed device is much bulkier than the Surface alone, but it is also more functional for me. I also like the surface texture of the cover when picking up the Surface to carry. It feels much more secure in my hand. With a keyboard (Signature or Bluetooth), my Surface with this cover is not as compact as the tablet it replaced, but I like this more than any laptop I have ever considered. With this cover (and a keyboard), my Surface is a much better sub for my old tablet than I ever could have imagined.

Did Forubar watch my Youtube Video reviewing one of their products or something? Initially, nothing about it stood out, as it reminded me of the Omnipak cases. However, there are a few key features that make it worth mentioning. First, the corners of the tablet are well-protected. Tablets and laptops aren't inherently durable—if you bump them, they can get marked, cracked, or even break. It's reassuring that this case offers good corner protection. Another advantage of the Forubar case is the space on the lateral side, which allows you to connect USB Type-C devices. This is something the Omnipak cases lack, and one of the reasons I chose Forubar over Omnipak. I do have some concerns about the material. I'm not sure how long the case will last. It feels less sturdy compared to others, possibly because it seems to have less padding. This makes the case more flexible, allowing me to fold it in different ways, which wasn’t possible before—you'd practically have to break the case to do that. I wonder if Forubar designed it like this on purpose. Overall, despite some reservations about its durability, the Forubar case's features make it a practical choice for protecting your device.
