A really useful book. It describes all the different crochet stitches and shows close up photos of each one, along with instructions for making them.

Really great, clear to understand, helpful pictures and has additional advice and tips for all things crotchet. Best book on crotchet that I have.

Being a budding crochet enthusiast myself who's made a few amigurumi toys and a few clothing following people's tutorials, I wanted to learn some stitches myself to in order for me to create my own pieces. This book has clear instructions along with pictures and also symbols that will allow you to read instructions from any tutorial/ instruction panel that you find. Honourable mention for me would be that near the top of the page (edge) and the bottom edge of any given page, was a tiny preview of what crochet stitch was on the said page. So if you were just flipping through the pages as well, you can tell what that said page entails and I thought was a lovely detail. And not to scare any new crochet enthusiasts or crochet enthusiasts of any level, I will recommend this book to all!

As I'm realativly new to crochet this book appealed to me as a way of practicing new stitches I've looked through the book and the explanations of each pattern seem simple to follow and the explanations of the terminology are great. Can't wait to start doing swatches before doing a project out of them .

Brilliant for beginners

Very informative, I can knit but only know the basic stuff, so be good to learn some other things.

I learned to crochet years ago but never really advanced from the usual sc, dc, hdc and tr. I recently started crocheting again and decided I wanted to add personal patterns to the items I made. This book is ideal for anyone like me who needs practical advice and a step by step guide. Since receiving this book I have made several jumpers and woolly hats and gloves from patterns which are basically plain but I have added some personalisation by using stitches shown in this book. Some are easy and very effective; others more difficult but very intricate. Well worth the money and will be used for many years.

Yes this has all the stitches. yes it has detailed pictures etc etc ... but oh my goodness ... why is the print so small? and pale. really difficult to read. So much space on the pages.

Il libro è bello ma le spiegazioni sono fatte malissimo, alcuni punti particolari non vengono proprio spiegati e quindi grazie a Dio C'è Internet dove ho trovato quello che non sapevo fare. Mi sorge una domanda Ma se lo avessi saputo già fare mi sarebbe servito il libro? In ogni caso ripeto Il libro è bello e ha un vasto assortimento di punti con sotto schemi e spiegazioni. Piuttosto caotica è invece la spiegazione di alcune maglie particolari altre invece non sono spiegate affatto

Que a mi mujer le ha encantado, las descripciones son excelentes, la fotografía y la calidad en general del libro. La cantidad de contenido que este libro tiene es muy buena, y para el precio es una compra casi que obvia.

I liked that the written instructions were accompanied by clear photos and colour-coded charts.

Great book with a wide selection of stitches. Unfortunately it took me awhile to figure out it's written in UK terms instead of US. I couldn't figure out why my stitches weren't matching the book's pictures - go figure.
