Stanley FatMax® Jab Saw & Scabbard 150mm (6in) 7 TPI, Hardened and Tempered Blade for Durability

Great piece of kit, bought to use mainly on kitchen units etc to widen holes where pipes need a bit of coaxing. The saw has very sharp teeth and the whole blade is really rigid so should hold up pretty well against chipboard, hardboard and the like. Don't know how long it would stay sharp when used on plasterboard, this material seems to take the edge off all types of saw, so will use an old Irwin jabsaw for those jobs! The scabbard is dead handy as it saves nicking your fingers everytime you are rummaging in the toolbox! Overall a good buy.

Well worth the pennies!! Does exactly what it is supposed to and works fine on wooden barge boards, soffits and fascia where precision is needed from a saw that is sharp and easy to handle when you're perched precariously on a ladder. I was well impressed with the results. It's a perfectly weighted tool that gives you the confidence to get on and do the job. Cuts wood easily in either hand.

Amazing little tool and I'm not sure how I have lasted this long without one. Very sharp and more than capable of cutting through wood, plastic and plasterboard. The sleeve is an added bonus as it is so sharp, particularly when in a box or bag. Every DIYer tool box needs one.

As an apprentice electrician this tool is essential for cutting into plasterboard. Super sharp and the scabbard is a good edition to avoid hurting your hands and scratching other tools. Reason for four stars is that mine has gone rusty after two uses, I'm guessing I cut some damp plasterboard but all the work I do is inside. Would recommend rather than a cheap tool as you know it will last and it has a really comfy handle.

Good value saw for the money sharp with great grip so easy to use

Great quality Jab saw use it often to cut plasterboard for sockets nice grip and cut like butter. Great tool to have on the tool box, used the same version which close did not like it as the opening and closing mechanism can rust and this is more a tool you throw on your tool box or van then on nice and dry place in a draw.

Good pad saw, these are quite strong and take a fair amount of abuse before the blade snaps. The holster is super useful, being tough and fitting nicely in the saw section of my Stanley Fatmax tool tote.

Needed this to remove a very large plastic water tank out of the loft and chop up several pieces of building material which were far too large to get through loft hatch. The sharp heavy duty blades on this Jab saw make quick work of cutting through wood, plasterboard and several centimetres think plastic. It's an excellent tool for quick and imprecise cutting. Comes with scabbard which protects the blade and protects you from accidentally cutting yourself on razor sharp teeth when putting the tool away somewhere. Nachdem ich es geschafft hatte beim schneiden eines Lochs in Ytong meinen alten Stichling abzubrechen musste ein neuer her. Der von Stanley ist wie sozielmlich alles von der Marke gut verarbeitet und liegt dank des gummierten Griffes gut in der Hand. Am Anfang ist er noch extrem scharf sodass schon sehr aufpassen sollte. Das Holster ist ganz okay, brauch man aber nicht wirklich. Für Ausschnitte in Ytong,Gipskarton und Styrodur ist er sehr gut geeignet.

Esta muy bien, es bastante grueso y tiene dientes por los dos lados del filo, viene con una bolsa para engancharte la sierra al cinturón y es muy cómodo.

Perfecto, para abrir en Pladur lo mejor, aunque para el corte fino, primero abro con esta sierra y después con una para metal
