HARRINGTONS Kitten Food Complete 425 g, Pack of 5

I've been buying Harringtons for my adult cats and had fantastic results, they are happy content cats with beautiful coats and generally healthy. So of course I wanted to get our new kitten on Harringtons also! She has been quite a fussy eater, not really interested in eating at all but as soon as I put a bowl of the Harringtons kitten food down she was straight in there which was such a relief! The kibble is nice and small so manageable for her tiny mouth. I'm hoping this will help with her smelly number 2's. As she was being fed on whiskas before so I shall let you know at a later date. Update Aug 2020 The kitten who is now a cat is still alive so I’d say 5 stars still *Thumbs up*

My kittens and lactating queen prefer Purina Bifensis (chicken 17%) or even more Applaws (80% chicken). I consider this product a valid alternative even if it is not my cat's favorite. I always mix it in the bowl with Purina Bifensis or Applaws or keep a little sample in a separate bowl.

My kitten hate this biscuits when I put them down they put there nose up to it but soon I put the adult harrringtons biscuits down they go for them! So I sold the kittens biscuits on Facebook what I had left and got the adult harringtons biscuits they fight over the first bowl of them but there all ways loads left over of the kitten biscuits I mean my adult cat don't even eat it and they would eat anything there not fussy lol... so my Furbie Said passs! Lol

We got two 8 week old kittens who had been eating cooked chicken for their first hard meals with their breeder - yet to my surprise they were eating this dry cat food within 10 minutes of leaving their basket when they arrived home with me. They're now coming up 6 months old and all they've eaten is this cat food, they're very healthy and very good looking. It's relatively cheap if you buy it here on Amazon directly from Harrington's, we are spending roughly the same as what Whiskas would cost if we bought it in store so very good value.

And it's all about whether or not your cats will like it. I'm sorry for the score but my 2 kittens (who have eaten *everything* else I've given them) would not even entertain this food for an instant. I couldn't get them to eat if when mixed in with something they really like. What might be helpful, is if the seller was able to sell 'samples' of their food. I bought all 5 bags (no option other on this website) and 4 of them went to the local rescue (the other had been opened so had to be binned). I think this may be a 'marmite' variety of kitten food (although I'm sure the quality is great) so if your cats don't like it, you're stuck with a fair bit of it... Judging from the positive comments, my DSH mogs are the exception rather than the rule but caveat emptor.

Obviously flavour rating is based on my cat’s enthusiastic ingestion; I haven’t tasted it myself. Great quality, junk free cat food at a value for money price point. I also like that it is manufactured in England so somewhat protected from import duties in the future, as long as their inputs are also UK produced. Loses a point overall for the non-recyclable packaging (or at least not labelled with recycling options).

I cannot comment on the flavour but cat likes it!! I have an elderly cat who has had some teeth out and find the normal sized dried cat food difficult to eat. I checked with the vet as this is kitten food just in case it was too rich but as it's not her only food it was ok. She manages this well and seems to enjoy it. I now buy this all the time for her. It is more expensive than an equivalent adult food, but cheaper than some kitten foods.

Die Mietzen waren am Anfang sehr begeistert und haben alle davon gefressen. Nach ein paar tagen hat es keiner mehr angerührt...schmeckt wohl doch nicht ganz so gut....
