Very tasty

I wanted to treat my family and friends and bought four packages of the Organic roasted chestnuts, put them in a bowl and placed them on a table with other wonderful Christmas goodies… I wasted $40 on what I had hoped would be a delightful and delicious treat for a Christmas get together…it was not as anticipated…they were soft, mushy and bland…literally no flavor.After trying them and with other guests agreeing, I quickly removed them from the food table and threw them in the garbageThey were a culinary disaster and just plain weird…These were absolutely awful…I had never had roasted chestnuts, so maybe I did not fully comprehend what they would turn out to be… I thought they would be like exotic nuts…they were not…having no roasted nut flavor…they were soft, messy and they were tasteless, not delectable nor pleasant to eat…just a weird, disappointing and costly experience for my Christmas Party.

Not a crunch you expect from a 'nut'. So not my thing.

Taste great. Soft and not dry at all. You can eat them right out of the bag. I love cooking with these chestnuts. Simply delicious. 😋

These are great in traditional Turkey stuffing. Already peeled and ready to use.

I was really excited to try roasted chestnuts, but the first bite I took I had to spit it out!! The are so soggy! The texture is what I couldn’t get over! I was expecting crunchy roasted nuts because I absolutely love nuts & it was a soggy mess! Gross texture!

Although the chestnuts were fine, if you have a CostCo membership, now is the time to stock up. I got 6 packs for less than the 2 pack price being offered here. Of course I learned this after I bought them.
