Bosmere N472 Boot Scraper, Black

This is the third type of boot brush I've bought and although only had it 2 days, so far, it's the best of the 3.I read the reviews and agree with most. Mine is outside my front door so can't place it on wood so it stands as is. First time of brushing I stood on the stand with the ball of my foot and it moved. So stood on the plate with my heel of foot and it stood firm. I wear Dunlop unisex wellies, size 6.5 and they fitted between the brushes perfectly and wider shoes would fit fine.The brushes are stiff but long and they scrape off the bulk of the mud. You'll never get 100% of wet mud off your wellies without a bucket of water but this does a very good job.I tipped a bowl of water over it to clean off the mud and that worked.Can't fault it so recommend it. Can't give longevity comments but pleased lots already!

Bought this to wipe mud off of boots. Where we are unfortunately we cannot drill a boot scraper into the floor and after spending a while looking for an alternative, I came across this.The bristles are really good at removing mud from the sides and back of boots, though I have needed to brush my feet on an alternative mat to ensure at the base of my boots are truly mud free but I believe this to be related to my technique than a flaw in the design. The little ‘wings’ are magnetised but a soft pull drops them down into position, it does move slightly when standing on the wings but not enough to affect its use. It does come with screws to screw it to the floor but we do not use this feature. Has been used for a month and no signs of wear.Overall, if you want a boot scraper that you do not need to drill into the floor that will get the mud from all around your boot/shoe this is a good choice.

The black is coming off the paint already, which is a disappointment. But it works perfectly fine and looks good apart from that (not that aesthetics matter much when it’s a boot cleaner). The flaps are very useful and set this design apart fromothers that would definitely require bolting down.

Sturdy boot brush arrangement that cleans the sole and sides of your boots at the same time. Robustly made out of green painted metal with good stiff brushes screwed firmly onto it, it can easily be left outside for when you need it. Can be screwed to a base plate (or into a paving slab) for stability in use, alternatively there are two flat end pieces that fold out for you to stand on with one boot while cleaning the other.Works very well and I am very pleased with this.

Very useful shoe cleaner

The design, with flap-down treads on which you can keep one foot whilst wiping the other, is very good. The device comes with fixing screws should you need them and is well packaged. It seems, for the price, reasonably sturdy and the brushes are good and strong. However, and for me a major issue, is that the gap between the side brushes, where you put your foot to wipe it, is much too narrow. I take a men's size 9 shoe which is pretty much average, and it is far too narrow to get a decent shoe into the brushes. It would be fine for children and probably for women. For this reason I would not buy again.

This item arrived promptly. The brushes are nice and firm, very effective at removing the worst of the mud or snow. I also like this scraper as it is small and sits easily by the door without taking over this space. It looks well constructed and sturdy. All in all, i would recommend it to a friend.

Yes, it works, but you need to put your weight on the side flaps - use your heel, not the front of your foot. The brushes seem quite sturdy.

This item does a good job of cleaning off shoes. I did not screw it to my porch decking. Instead I have it on a small doormat. When I want to clean my shoes, I stand on the mat and the shoe cleaner stays put. I turn the mat around to get the other foot.

Just used 2 or 3 times, and one of the side pieces has already fell off.There are no screws, the part is just crimped, and it is obviously not very solid.
