Rug Tape Pad, Rug Anchors Carpet Hook and Loop Non-Slip Mat Anti-Skid Stickers (10PCS, Black)

I wanted these for two applications, a doormat by the back door and car footwell mats. The doormat is a spectacular result, the mat previously would move as we stepped out into the back. It is now fixed securely with two pads onto a tiled floor without moving since installation.The car mats are less successful as the pads don’t adhere as well to the car carpet or the underside of the mat. To be fair this is more an issue with the substrate than the rug anchors.

These pads are very sticky but no good for carpet on carpet 😕

Have tried many things to stop a (hard backed) rug from sliding on a carpet but nothing seemed to work . Bought these , only used the ‘looped’ part of the item , sticking them to the back of the rug which has worked a treat . Have kept the furry halves and if for any reason the rug starts to slide I will use them . Just for info ...... I think the directions for use have been written by someone for whom English is perhaps a second / third language .

Works great for keeping the carpet down.They have a very high bonding adhesion which is great.The only back thing about them is the Velcro doesn't come apart easily so when you try to clean under the carpet the carpet side of Velcro will come off the carpet. It's difficult to clean the sticky side too but the carpet does stick back to it still and we have spares too which is why it's good for the money.Good value!

The pads work very well at the start, good adhesion, but once you lift the rug to hoover, the adhesion is lost/doesn’t stick down again, and the pads need to be replaced with new ones. Maybe that’s expected/the way they are meant to work, but can therefore get quite expensive if you have to replace every time you hoover, so for us a bit disappointing...

I ordered these to keep 3 rugs from moving,Firstly they were very difficult to pull apart, once that was done, I stuck one to the carpet and the other to the rug, Great! Well the rug kept moving so we put one on each end , fine, but the rug kept getting ripples in it, so we decided to go back to what we know and use the rug slip guard, when that arrived we tried to take the squares off the rugs and it pulled the wool out of my brand new rug!!! I was furious and tried to get them off my two other rugs they also started to pull the wool through the rug , ruined! I have had to leave them on the rugs and put paper over these awful sticky squares, I sincerely hope no one purchases these squares the are a con and now I will have to buy 3 more rugs, and get the the main carpet cleaned, as the square left a really bad sticky stain and unfortunately I can’t reve it off my other carpet and it’s stuck so deeply to the thick carpet, I’m scared to pull it off and that carpet will ruined too!
