**Q: Can I use this outside on a pipe to stop freezing?? Outside tap isn't straight out the wall.**
A: Ok for outside use

**Q: do you have to cut for fitting**
A: Have to cut for correct length. Already cut to slide over pipe

**Q: How can you secure the item as it is for  under carport tap and pipes it gets quite  windy under there.?**
A: I use the plastic ties, available on Amazon. Wrap ties around insulation, thread through the slot, and then pull tight.

**Q: Can you gaurantee the cover is definitely split to allo inw foam to slide over pipes**
A: There is a split in the foam to allow easy fitting on pipes.
