It's real easy to set up and it's quick to respond to the atmosphere around it which is handy as you don't always want to leave it hours on end for results...It's also very well made with a small kick stand at the rear to place on any flat surface..You also have the ability to set a high and low humidity (maybe more for those monitoring technical equipment) and also a reset button to see what changes have occured during the day. I will point out that it IS Green with a silver accent and not black as the main photo shows,but it looks quite smart none the less...£40 gets you a great accurate Temp gauge and Dew point monitor and it does a fantastic job.Highly recommended Review: Reasonable little until - A nice little until, the temperature seems to be quite accurate, not sure about the % of the relative humidity. The the dew point temperature is accurately calculated between the two figures. The humidity is good but checkiing normal for the product.** A: Not normal. Accurate to within a half-degree when calibrated. **Q: How do we select either of the 2 Certificate of Traceablitity options? Or is this already in the box?** A: The product does not come with a certificate & it's a hassle to obtain. The Extech website notes the following:Is my meter calibrated out of the box? How often should it be calibrated? Does it come with a calibration certificate? How & where can I get my meter calibrated?All Extech products are factory calibrated prior to shipment. This calibration is valid for one year. An annual factory calibration is recommended. Extech does not include calibration certificates with our products. It will need some protection, like a plastic sandwich box with some paper towel padding, but that will do it for me.
