Used in my Toyota tundra and it works amazing

I got this looking to update my navigation in my Lexus and unfortunately it didn’t work. This is specific for Toyota and does not work with Lexus.I cannot comment on quality or usability of the system since it didn’t work for me.I rated 5 stars due to the fact it was my own fault for not being diligent in making sure it would work. The physical product itself was exactly as described and as expected

Recently purchased 2017 Toyota Tacoma and found that it had old navigation maps and also appeared to be missing apps and not connecting to my phone correctly. Purchased this MicroSD card and instead of just updating my navi maps, it updated my entire system. Now I can connect with my phone (Toyota App), I've got all the media apps, the maps are up to date, and I've got live traffic again. It updated everything and I couldn't be happier.

This chip is useful in urban areas, but does not work at all outside of major expressways. It literally goes blank. There is no way you should ever rely on it for navigation while traveling. My travel was outside of the return period so I am stuck with junk. I had to use my original chip to return home and get the proper navigation. This definitely is not a replacement for the original chip. I wanted navigation more current that my original. This is not that at all. BEWARE!

My recent SD Card replacement for my 2018 Prius died after 9 months. Phooey. But, when I went to reorder it, I was delighted to discover that there is now an even more up-to-date (2023) SD card available. I inserted it and - voila! - it immediately worked. No waiting for it to process its info or anything. Whew and Yay!!

Getting the old card out of the Prius GPS navigation head was a challenge, and getting the new card to go up far enough to click card holder tried patience. (hint: use a plastic butter knife butt end to assist removal/insertion) But card worked as expected with most current roads and addresses included. Good value for money.

Scary that it came with no directions, but I found a you tube for changing out my 2016 Toyota RAV4 hybrid. Really you just turn the car off, remove the old card from behind a blank “button” cover on the lower right hand of the stereo, insert the new card, and turn on the car. You have to “ok” a couple of screens and it takes 2 or maybe three beboots of you car but then it just works. You also get a better Bluetooth media player setup as a bonus. Maps are more detailed. Worth it. The Toyota one is almost $800 by the time it’s in the shop.

Really easy install,followed all promps took 8 minutes to load. Major hiways Nova Scotia have been updated.

It works but it is 2022 data not 2023, just say that.

This card was returned not because it was defective in any way but because it was incompatible with the car.The return procedure was simple and my account was credited the day I shipped it back.Amazon knows how to keep it’s customers happy. 😃
