Quixx Car Paint Scratch Repair/Removal System - Quality @ Its Best.

Bought this product after i noticed a large scuff mark down the side of my car (damn those car washes!!). I was quite annoyed as I have brand new 09 plate Mazda 6 and the car wash left a fairly large and noticable scuff mark along the nearside passanger door and all over the handle. So I decided to invest in a scratch remover and after reading a LOT of information on the web and getting quite confused along the way, i decided that this particular product was getting regular positive reviews. I was a bit scepitcal as often these types of products dont live up to the hype and what they claim so it was with a lot of trepidation that i took the plunge.What you get in the box are two 25g tubes (No 1 is the cutting compound and No 2 is the polish), 2 cleaning cloths and 4 strips of sandpaper. Instructions are recommended as follows: For superficial scratches (ones that you can run a fingernail over without feeling the scratch) it is recommended that you clean the area with a cloth first, apply some of tube No 1 to one of the cleaning cloths and go over the scratched area in a circular motion applying pressure for approx 1-2 mins. Then you apply some of tube No 2 to the second cloth and go over the scratched area to polish it and give it a mirror finish. The sandpaper is needed if the scratch can be felt by running your fingrnail over it, in which case you need to sand down the sratched area first being careful not to expose the primer!! Then use No 1 and No 2 as mentioned above.Lucky for me, my scuff marks were superficial so i didnt need to sand anything. I must admit, i had to apply tube No1 for slightly longer the a couple of mins and after a while my hand was cramping up!! Saying that though you can actually SEE the product working before your eyes, its amazing. The scuff marks that were so prominent earlier, were disappering as i was rubbing the compound in. After applying the polish the scratched area was as good as new! I tried looking for any masked scratched marks or any trace of them being there and couldn't find anything. Highly highly recommended!

Was hoping this product would be good based on the reviews but was disappointed to find it didn't work. I used it on a very minor scratch on my car door and it didn't do a thing at all. I even used finish #1 for longer than the recommended 2 minutes and it still didn't help. Wouldn't waste my money on this again, the scratch looks just the same as if I'd done nothing.

This is a good product but rather than use instead of a scratch pen I think it comlpements the scratch pen and both have slightly different strengths. If you need paint the halfords touch up kits give a final weapon to fixing minor sctatches but after that it is the magic man or the body shop I reckon.

I bought the antique gold and the black and they have been great at transforming super shiny gold items into more vintage, aged pieces. Really easy to apply and work with. I use a tiny paintbrush for delicate detail and a cloth for larger areas - then buff and it’s good to go! It’s a shame I cannot find antique brass as a colour - no one seems to do it - but the gold with enough black can be a good compromise. Highly recommend this product for all diy projects.

This product does remove very, very light scratches but don't expect any more than that. It takes some elbow grease as well. Tried to remove a scratch with this and it didn't work until I used a friend's electric buffer with it. My tip is buy the Quixx but invest a few quid in a buffer.

I have just finished using this product and I must admit though very sceptical at first as I have used other products in the past with poor results I found Quixx Car Paint Remover very impressive. Obviously any really deep scratches need filling first but even on places like the car bonnet which shows every mark in the light Quixx did a very good job of hiding the blemishes also my car is metallic silver and even a quick application with this product produced a good finish and I will certainly be using it agin.

HI,I had a key scratch running alongside of my car. Some places deeper and some very light. I think paint was damaged to to primer at some places but some were very light. Got a quote from garage for £400 for repaining, car worth 1.8k so it wasnt worth it. Ithought I will try to remove some parts of scratch with Quixx, read a lot and watched youtube videos showing how to remove scraches. I gave it a try but was very very dissapointed. Did not remove anything at all.I used Turtle Wax Scratch Repair Kit as well and that worked much better. It reduced 30% of scratch.Do not recommend Quixx unles the scratch is very vey shallow.

This is the best solution to scratches I have found. It can be hard to find so finding it on amazon has been brilliant. My old car took a hit, scrape with paint transfer. This as a final point hid the last bits of green and my car was silver with no scrape in the end. Almost invisible.My new car has autoglym but I have still used this until a full touch up of the autoglym

Few of these products rarely produce results . I had to apply elbow grease and it took some time and a matter of 4 or 5 applications along with some touch up paint.Eventually I wore the problem down and this produced more than satisfactory results.

OK so less than 3 months ago i bought a pearl white 2007 350z coupe it is my baby but unfortunately 2 weeks ago or so i was at the grocery shop and a run away cart hit the back of my car ( back bumper) and left about 10-12 scratches and a very very big and deep scratch , i was extremely angry because you def able to see it on my car and come on who wants to drive a nice car with huge scratches !!! NOT ME, so i took my car to at least 4 different paint shops to see how much it would be to just paint those scratches of, every single shop told me it would be 400+ dollars i was completely bummed out and said no way, i received a phone call from one of my best friends and he told me about this product and i was completely skeptical about it and from the get go i went in close minded about the product i purchased the product and it took about a week to arrive A LONG LONG WEEK for me all i could think of was the nasty scratches on the back of my beautiful car so when the product arrived i did everything it said to do on the directions and it did absolutely nothing i was pissed of because in my mind i knew that this had been a complete waste of money and time , but then i thought MMMMMM maybe i should use the entire product on my car which is what i did and do my surprise EVERY SINGLE SCRATCH CAME OFF! i dont understand how it works but BOOM like magic my car looked brand new of course i jumped in joy in my garage ( i am 22 years old ) and shouted and screamed like a woman ! every single scratch came off if you follow the directions and use the whole product IT WILL work before you go out and think that you need to spend hundreds of dollars on a new touch up paint job try this item IT WAS like magic def recommend it, since then i bought 3 more packages of this product and have them in my garage just in case a careless person does something to my car

Tipp: vor dem kauf dieses Produktes den sogenannten Wasser Test am Kratzer durchführen, einfach Wasser auf den Kratzer einreiben dan bekommt er entweder die Wagenfarbe zurück und ist kaum sichtbar (nur die Klarlack schicht ist beschädigt ) schlecht ist es wenn der Kratzer noch immer Weiß ist oder Grau ist dann hat man so einen Tiefen Kratzer der bis zur Grundierung reicht dann würde ich das Produkt nicht empfehlen. Die Anleitung ist extrem genau beschrieben habe für meine Kratzer ca. 4 Stunden gebraucht bis sie weg wahren nur noch ganz leichte Vertiefungen sind zu erkennen wenn man sehr sehr nahe ran geht habe noch 2 Fotos vom Tank Vorher /Nachherich hoffe ich konnte Helfen
