The cards come in a book with a 150 page boom detailing the meanings of the cards and how to use them for shadowing. The pictures are very clear and detailed and the card quite sturdy. Slightly larger than the,”Blue Lenormand” but still, not uncomfortable to shuffle. This is a nice starter set, if you are new to Lenormand and don’t have any other books in your collection.

Feel rather disappointed that this is a selective rehash of the their book "Learning Lenormand" which is an excellent book. Nowhere in the description on the site does it say it is a box set with a book and cards. Just feel that I have bought twice? It is an excellent selection of the necessary elements for understanding Lenormand cards. I would recommend this to anyone interested in Lenormand cards.

Consiglio per la qualità del testo: gli autori, e Marcus Katz in particolare, sono i maggiori conoscitori di Tarocchi e Lenormand a livello internazionale e svolgono corsi e training da molti anni. Il prezzo è molto vantaggioso, il kit è curato e le carte sono belle a vedersi. Ottimo anche per chi desidera fare un regalo ad amici appassionati.

The cards are small, pocket size. Approximately 4 by 2.5 inches. The book is 7.5 by 5 inches. The historical value of this deck is what attracted me the most. The guidebook is very informative; tho, the images for each card corresponds, perhaps, to the original antique deck, which to me is an extra point of interest. This deck, also, will be held close to my heart as a reminder of my grandmother who did practice cartomancy and taught me a little of this art.
