It's really nice to keep a copy of the words of Odin to hand.Only a 4 Star because it's not my favourite translation of The Havamal.

Good book. Helps put thins back into prospective with this crazy world we live in. I found it on similar line to Confucius.(Probably spelt that wrong. Sorry.)

The "Sayings of the Wise One" is in my opinion the best work in the Poetic Eddas, and this handy pocket guide is a must for any heathen, or anyone interested in Germanic culture.

Brilliant little book and even though it’s based on mythology, many of the quotes make a lot of sense in the modern world...

I liked this version of the Havamal very much- it's so small I can take it with me every time I need a little consultation, and the simple design makes sure it doesn't draw too much attention when it's in the bag. The cover is very smooth, and I like the font it's been printed in- with lots of spaces on the sides so I can write down my thoughts on the topic of the stanzas. Even if it is not my favorite translation of the Havamal, it still is a good one, and I can honestly recommend this book for carrying with you on your daily ways.
