Coconut oil is the edible oil harvested from the meat of mature coconuts (Cocos nucifera). 40-60% of coconut oil is comprised of the 12-carbon medium chain saturated fatty acid known as lauric acid, a triglyceride.Lauricidin® is made by combining lauric acid from coconut oil with a plant-based glycerol (non-soy) creating a pure ester known as monolaurin, a monoglyceride.

Is this same as lactoferrin or does it contain it? Tia.

No - Lauricidin is extracted from coconut and used to fight off bacteria and viruses etc. Lactoferin is from cow's and mother's milk and works on the immune health of the gut. They both work on the immune system but in different ways.

3000 mg is it per scoop?

That should be correct. According to the manufacturer one container holds 227 g and 75 servings. 227:75=3,027.
