The Marvelous Book of Magical Horses (Klutz) Toy – 1 Mar. 2011

We started out by buying this book to occupy our small children (5 and 7) on the day of our house move. It did the trick. They sat quietly up a corner playing and generally ignoring the chaos around them for a good couple of hours! Since then we have bought it for numerous small girls as birthday presents and every parent has come back to thank us. Klutz make fantastic books and this is one of the best. I can't recommend it highly enough. Ours still play with their copy a year and a half later. The only small niggle is that the sticky tabs to fix the clothes on leave lots of small yellow paper dots around the house - but the hoover soon does the trick! We haven't yet had to buy any more sticky tabs, as they are reusable, but I know Klutz do sell spares (at a price). BUY IT FOR ANY CHILD BETWEEN THE AGES OF 4 AND 9!!!!

I have bought this delightful book for my 10 year old daughter. She loves horses and with this book, you can dress up the horses.But the beauty is , no scissors needed. No need to cut anything. Everyone is done that the horses can become unicorns or you can change their outfits with clever concealed slits in the cardboard.The book also comes with three wonderful landscapes to play on.I really recommend it for little girls. There are others books in the series that I am going to investigate.This will keep them busy for hours. And one book can easily be used by 2 or 3 girls at the same time as they are several horses.

This has so far kept my 9 year old and 5 year old occupied for a little while. They enjoy dressing up the horses and riders and playing with them. Has a handy envelope to keep all the bits and pieces.The sticky pieces could be made slightly easier for little fingers to remove and could do with a few more pages of them, but all in all a really nice item

I brought this book, and paper fashions by klutz for my daughters 6th birthday and she loves it.She has had hours of fun dressing the horses up and it was potentially the present she liked the most. Would recommend for ages 6 and above, any younger and it would be just too fiddly and exasperating for the child

I bought this book for my little artist aged 8 years old and she didn't stop playing with it since. A gorgeous book full of outfits and accessories to dress your horses and fairies.Klutz products are awesome!I guarantee hours of entertainment. Fabulous product at a wow price and prompt delivery!

Really good for the whole family, children loved it and we actually thought it was rather fab and was very much involved when this came out

I'd really recommend this for children who don't enjoy doing art. It gives lovely results with little skill: my daughter was delighted with what she managed to create. Grown up help needed only with the fiddly sticky bits.

I think i would recommend for girls 5 year old and older. There's lots of small elements to push out so parent attention probably required. Good practice for their hands though.
