Keter Factor 8 x 6 ft Outdoor Storage Shed, Beige/Brown

Fantastic kit. Easy build but does require extra hand at times to hold panels. Weatherproof.Comes with floor though suggest it is placed on a firm surface. Very durable, we now have 3, the 1st is over 20 years old and still great. Bezt of all, very low maintenance, no painting etc.Skylight strip allows loads of light into the shed during the day, even when overcast.One caution, DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE PLASTIC FIXING STUDS. There is one spare but not eady to get the broken one out.Stll worth every penny.

We are delighted with our new shed which was a replacement for a wooden one that had rotted out and had become very damp causing damage to stored items.Some of our experiences might be of interest to others. We were given a firm delivery day by Amazon and we arranged to be at home but Arrow tried to deliver a day early when we were out. The shed had to go back to the Arrow depot and the delivery rescheduled. We now know that whilst Arrow are rather difficult to contact by telephone their on line tracking service using the tracking number that Amazon supply works superbly and had we known we would have spotted the actual delivery date. Our advice would be to keep an daily eye on the Arrow website regardless. The shed came in two boxes which we thought were just a little too heavy for the two man delivery team, as did they!We managed to save some timber planks when carefully dismantling the old shed and together with some old fence posts we made a plinth for the shed to stand on and it does supply the solid base required although the shed is now standing a few inches higher than necessary. We reiterate the requirement that the base must be solid.We are a husband and wife in our mid-seventies and we were well able to cope with the assembly although there were one or two demanding moments. There was nothing missing, indeed we were left with a long box girder section number FTH which is listed in the list of parts but we never did find out what it is for. There are times in the assembly when a part has to fit several other parts simultaneously and this can require patience--it seems to confirm the requirement that every part has to be fully and properly home to allow for the next action to take place. Often hand slaps were helpful and sometimes we did make use of a flat piece of wood and a small hammer to assist assembly. Obviously the hammer must not meet the plastic. The shed seemed a little flimsy whilst assembly took place but as things finally came together the overall strength became apparent and we were very impressed by the sheer cleverness of the design.Once assembled we found that we needed more shelf space and, again using wood saved from the old shed, we were able to use the internal mouldings to support light duty shelving simply rested in place. This can be seen in the accompanying pictures.We are concerned that the roof sections are black and heat up in direct sunlight resulting in the inside of the shed getting hotter than the provided ventilation panels can cope with. We propose to position a small solar powered fan on one of the ventilation panels to remove the hottest of the air at the top of the shed. We also wonder about painting the roof panels some colour other than black but we will wait and see on this.This may seem a little eccentric but on days when the weather is not quite good enough for the full outside table, parasol and chairs experience we find it pleasing to sit with a beverage in the shelter of the shed with the double doors propped open and simply commune with nature.

Good size shed , took us 5 hours to assembly , but the plastics are uneven and the cut outs wasnt perfect so sometimes was tricky to click the parts together , but it all worked out on the end , if the cut outs would be made with good detail then if would be a bit faster , the instructions are very easy to follow , all parts was there plus few spares just in case , very pleased with how it looks but the quality could be a bit better for that price . Just shame you cant buy extra shelves as the one whats comes with the shed , as the one what are sold separately are completely different so it looks a bit odd and they are very expensive . But otherwise happy with the shed and the final effect .

The lockable Keter shed is fabulous. I looked at a lot of reviews of sheds of different kinds to replace two old wooden sheds in our garden which were falling to pieces. The shed came flat-packed in two large cardboard boxes. One corner had been damaged in transit, leading to three items needing to be replaced. I emailed the Keter customer service with photographs of the damage, and a very helpful lady called Linda kindly arranged for the three items to be replaced by courier within two days. Following completion of the shed, I packaged the damaged items up and she arranged for a courier to pick these up within two days as well (no charge to me in either case). I constructed a wooden base to raise the floor up from the new flagstones which we were having laid, but the floor of the shed can be placed directly onto a flat surface if drainage is not a problem. The manual supplied is detailed and concise (similar to one of the IKEA manuals). Each item is put up in turn and fixed using the screws and plastic bolts provided. Bolts are easily tightened manually, but I used a pair of pliers to give them an extra turn as I have arthritis in my thumbs. Two of us constructed the shed (myself and my wife), and did not have any problems fitting either the walls or the roof, which all slot into place after aligning with each other. As the construction is of pre-formed plastic, a couple of the wall sections had a slight bend in them, but this was twisted out easily and forms a tight fit once secured in place with the bolts. Final strengthening comes from self-tapping screws which secure all the panels vertically to the upright spines from the inside. The shed is fitted with one window (well-fitted and does not leak), and also two plastic shelves, easily fitted and appear firm. I've checked inside after two recent downpours and there is not a sign of water inside the shed at all. All in all we are well-pleased with our purchase, which looks great, and cannot fault the customer service we received from Linda at Keter. Would strongly recommend this item.

Delighted with the shed, in the main, after a 12 week wait on backorder. Delivery and packaging were excellent and all parts were present and undamaged. I had already put down a plastic grid and shingle shed base and then assembled the shed on my own, dodging rain showers so it did span two half days. It has to be a lot easier with an assistant! I had to make do with a rubber mallet and some bungees.In the useful (Polish) 'how to' clip on YouTube, the guys simply pressed the eaves ends in with their fingers. Unfortunately, I presume as the consequence of a rush to resume production after Lockdown, the quality and sharpness of the some of the mouldings was disappointingly poor and I had to spend a while cutting away all the swarf and then needed to use several adjustable clamps and a lot of washing up liquid to get them to join up and deliver the 'clip' as promised in the instructions! Similarly the centre door hinge holes and slots for the door hasp had to be cleaned out with a craft knife before assembly, which did add to the time.My top tip - when putting up the wall parts, make sure the three centre verticals (part 'CS' with the galvanised strengtheners) have seated right down to the floor each time, or else you have a lot of fettling to do when trying to put on the spans ('D81(1)') above the assembled walls. I noted that in both the online videos I watched, they skipped over just how fiddly it is to fit those two bits; it is even fiddlier on your own.In summary, a decent shed, not too hard to put together, and excellent value at Amazon/Argos prices.

This shed was difficult to put together because a lot of the parts didn’t line up, many hoes were not pre drilled. There was no written instructions just pictures with Click next to it. I had to return one shed because two parts were damaged. It’s a shame because now the shed is together I like it.

Ordered from Amazon Friday evening, received the following Sunday morning. Excellent service from the two delivery guys who man handled the two(very heavy)boxes through to my back garden. With much help of a neighbour we unpacked each box to check that all the components were there. The components were all clearly numbered to help with following the build instructions. At that point my neighbour asked if he could help with the assembly. I did not refuse and in truth I ended up assisting him. Building is pretty straight forward as everything lines up perfectly, but it is very important to follow the instructions in the sequence shown. I must stress that the assembly is best carried out by two people, some of the larger component are very light weight and would be difficult for a single person to handle even in a light breeze. With just a couple of breaks for refreshments, we were able to complete the build by 7:30 on that Sunday evening. Although some of the components appear flimsy when first unpacked, they become stronger as the build progresses into units. This is due to the clever design and precise manufacture. I suppose some would say a timber built shed would be more aesthetically pleasing, but the timber shed that this one's replaced had cost much to maintain. The maintenance free outdoor Keter storage box I bought some years ago has proved to be just that; maintenance free. I am confident that this Keter shed will prove to be the same, but will of course let you know if proved wrong. Quite chuffed with it, hence the picture.

Quality is awful! Every side panel is damaged. They are all cracked and split.Had 2 more deliveries supposedly replacementsStill 4 panels and the frames missing and one of the doors send is unacceptablly scratched. Also the 2 panels they have resent have been melted together at some point. Just want a refund and this plastic litter removed from my garden!

Prodotto di altissimo livello, veramente tanto spaziosa e molto semplice da montare seguendo le istruzioni che risultano estremamente chiare e che hanno permesso a mio marito un montaggio della stessa in sole 4 ore da solo, con la sola eccezione del fissaggio interno delle viti del tetto, che hanno necessitato di un aiuto per tenerlo fermo. Consiglio caldamente l’utilizzo di un avvitatore per accorciare i tempi. Dopo un violento nubifragio la casetta è risultata perfettamente a prova di pioggia. Venditore veramente TOP! Arrivato imballato perfettamente ( e in pochissimo tempo) senza nemmeno un graffio o un minimo difetto ai vari componenti.Ho risparmiato circa 300€ acquistando qua su Amazon piuttosto che da i vari venditori brico della mia città.Mi riservo di aggiornare la recensione dopo l’estate quando sarà rimasta per mesi al sole cocente ma al momento mi sento di consigliare sia il prodotto che il venditore a chiunque sia in cerca di una casetta per gli attrezzi spaziosa, semplice da montare, con un prezzo onesto e che non necessita della minima manutenzione 👍

Das Gerätehaus von Keter ist wirklich ein super schöner Haus . Es hat viel Platz.2 Regal waren auch dabei.Qualität ist auch sehr gut. Alle Teile passten genau zusammen.Montage Tipps:Also, man benötigt 2 Personen mindestens.Da es windig war brauchten wir eine dritte Person zum Halten. Nur bis die erste Ecke stand. Danach lief die Montage wie ein Uhrwerk ab. Aufbauanleitung war sehr verständlich. In 3,5 Stunden mit Kaffeepause, dann stand das Gerätehaus.Montage Tip! Die Dicken Plastebolzen zum einschrauben hab ich leicht mit Öl eingeschmiert. Dann lassen die sich besser einschrauben.Klare Kaufempfehlung. Würde ich immer wieder kaufen.

Très satisfaite de cet abri de jardin. Montage assez facile la notice en français et bien détaillée, les pièces sont numérotées donc très pratique. Mon mari a mis 5h pour le monter tout seul je l ai juste aidé pour le toit. Il a l air solide et robuste en plus de son étanchéité (à voir dans le temps). Très pratique pour ranger son outillage de jardin (tondeuse, pelle, pioche etc....) les étagères très pratique pour du rangement en plus ce qui optimise la place. Cet abri ne rouille pas et n à pas besoin d etre lasuré car elle est en résine et ne nécessite aucun entretien. J en suis très contente. Pour tous ceux qui cherche un abri sûr et pratique je recommande

Acheté il y a 2 ans, je suis très satisfaite de cet abri de jardin Keter Factor. Le montage demande un peu de temps mais les pièces s’emboîtent bien et l’ensemble est robuste. Après 2 ans, il n’a pas bougé : résistant aux intempéries, ne se déforme pas et reste bien étanche. Pratique avec son grand espace de rangement et ses portes solides. Très bon rapport qualité/prix, je recommande sans hésiter.
