Brooks Men's Ghost 13 Running Shoe

Initial impressions are positive, good fit, comfortable in use. Feels better than the Asics gel and nimbus that I have been using recently. However it is still early and need to validate with prolonged use over the next few weeks. Nowadays I typically run about 4 miles on tarmac a few times per week, anywhere between 1 and 4.

This is my 5th or 6th pair of Ghosts and they are still one of the best shoes there. A great last for wider UK feet. I find these have the right level of bounce and responsiveness, not too bouncy but enough to support longer runs. They wear well - but I recommend changing every year as the foam loses its responsiveness.

My wife wanted a pair of shoes for exercise which isn't exclusive to running. A friend recommended this shoe and she loves them. Extremely comfortable, perfect support and great colour options. Usual size is a 5 but bought a 5.5 (definitely go up half a size from your normal she says).

Husband liked them, a very comfortable trainers a little on the wide side... But after coming home after running today, I cleaned his trainers & there is a massive rip along the seam of the trainer about 3-4 inches long. For the price I'm really disappointed even after good use, this shouldn't happen after 6 months. Not happy & now need to buy another pair, but definitely not Brooks again...

The shoe was really good, very comfortable, however the toebox was slightly narrow. Realise I need a wider running shoe, like the altra brand. Seller Athleticweb were excellent on delivery (very quick), and return. I would say this would suit most people who take a standard shoe.

The best road running shoe out there at the price point. I had a pair of ghost 6 which were great and messed around with other alternatives for years usually based on buying other brands opportunistically at sale prices etc. If you run any material distance do your limbs a favour and buy these!

Bought for my husband at Xmas. He’s worn them several times now for his weekend runs! He is very happy, finds them very comfy and given him good shock absorption. He is a uk size 9 but after reading reviews and info on this trainer type I ordered half size up which fits perfectly. My husband has a reasonably wide foot.

I have been using Brooks trainers for the past 15 years and have always found them to be excellent. This pair started out being fairly uncomfortable and giving me blisters on my heels, which i managed to counter by having them very loose around the ankle. Not ideal, but not the end of the world. However they have now become complete unwearable as part of the lining by the toe has come loose giving me blisters across two of my toes. I do not know if these are a defective pair, but i do not expect them to be worn out after 5 weeks of use. So i would very much avoid these trainers.
