This is a lovely journal. Made a super Christmas present for someone who only likes the best. Gorgeous leather back with quality paper inside.

Bought for a giftHappy with purchase, book its great and so is the cover. However the strap that holds it isn't the same in the picture above.. I would say it would break eventually when used and tied up a lot.Still the book is great.. And cover I wouldn't say personally its worth the money compared to other books..

My first copy has become my travel log of choice, so I've bought a second one for when the first is full. It may not be proper leather, but it has a good feel to it

I was very pleased with this journal. It looks like it cost a lot more, and I love the smell of the leather. The paper is excellent quality and has only lines which I wanted. Others had wording at the top which was unnecessary. No bleeding through with my Pilot G-2 07 pen... I'm happy!

The Finish on the cover is very smooth and plastic like not the nice grain depicted on the picture nor the lustrous sheen as show in the photo. On the plus size the quality of the paper in the Journal seems to be quite good and took ink from my fountain pen quite nicely.
