We normally use oil but it all peeled off so tried cuprinol.thouroghly cleaned off the old oil & let dry then applied the cuprinol. Decking is 24ft x 14ft with railings, gave it 2 really thick coats (did,nt skimp on it) & it took nearly 2 tins (about 4L ) Really nice rich colour, decking looks like new. Very impressed will definitely get more when we need to. That was 9 months ago & it still looks like new. Hope this has been helpful,Steve

Would this be suitable for kids play frame?

No we would not recommend this be used on a climbing frame as it has a slightly rough texture, due to the microbeads in the finish.

Is it good for decking floors

Yes it works well, however the new (legal formula), is not as good as the previous oil based one) They also changed the colour slightly...as I successfully claimed against them. Will need to re-coat every 3 years or so as it then gets scuffed. Shop around for best price, and best applied by brush, not sprayed. It is tough, just rubbing your feet over it wont shift it at all.
