It’s 100% not grey. I love the curtains they are voile with a cotton backing, but couldn’t get them in grey. I decided to try Rit, and I couldn’t be happier the color was charcoal grey and I’m extremely pleased with the result it said put salt or white vinegar depending on the material . (I did google and watch a video) . I thought in for a penny, so I put both in, and I did them in the washing machine I did use 4 bottles, but I’m pleased so I don’t care lol.
