Is this good for oily skin?

Hi Olivia. This is wonderful stuff. I have super oily skin, but the oil skin cleanser by Jan Marini is too harsh for me. This is deep-cleansing without being drying. I was introduced to JM products when I had laser treatment for acne. Haven't been able to afford to keep up with the treatments, but the products are worth it! This cleanser basically sloughs off your very top layer of dead skin cells that you can't even see, which is what clogs the pores. It's the glycolic acid in it that does this. Your skin feels smooth and toned afterwards. My pores are always small and my skin smooth. I use this with the Jan Marini Bioglycolic Bioclear Lotion too. My skin isn't perfect - I won't make it out to be a miracle. But in answer to your inital question: Yes. It's marvellous for oily skin. We all need moisture in our skin, even those of us with oily skin.

Would this be a good replacement for md formulations sensitive facial cleanser?

This has quite a high % of glycolic , so can be very drying. So I’d say if you have sensitive skin go for a lower % of glycolic

Is this cleanser suitable for an older dryer skin?

To be honest prob not... my skin has dried up considerably in the last couple of years so I’ve stopped using this (unless I have a hormonal breakout) as it’s too high glycolic %. Try “The Ordinary” glycolic toner in evenings which is only 7% & much milder for older skins
